Oct 04,2024Since I have discovered Godiva Secret Wigs, I have been very pleased with their wigs and customer service! I have purchase 10 wigs from them and love the looks and the freedom these wigs give me! Everyone loves the wigs on me, even my husband thinks I look great with one on! I don't understand the negatives on this site. They are top quality and worth the price. Peggy

May 31,2024I wouldn’t write this review had they been willing to stand by their product and make things right but that didn’t happen. I bought the first wig less than 30 days ago and it is like a Brillo pad. It’s unwearable. I followed their care instructions with shampoo and conditioner, no heat and I didn’t even brush it the way I’ve seen them do it on the video. I was extremely gentle with it. When I first received it, I loved it so much I bought another one and then bought a 3rd within 2 weeks. When I realized what bad shape this was in, I reached out to customer service who informed me that returns are only for 20 days and they cannot have been worn. How else would I know what terrible quality this was if I hadn’t worn it? So the 1st one can’t be returned because it’s been worn and the 2nd can’t be returned because it’s been over 20 days. The third is definitely going back. So out of over $1200, I’ll get around 25% back after return fees. They clearly know the quality is poor and that’s why they don’t stand by it. I was in the Facebook group and saw comments about how crunchy other people’s wigs were after only 3-4 washings but they’re removed quickly. My comment was removed super quick this morning and there was nothing rude about it. I was empathizing with another woman who was also in my shoes after only weeks. The only way people can be warned and save themselves the cost of $400 per wig that I spent is to post in places like this. Please keep looking. I’ve had wigs that have lasted for years. These never will. Buyer beware!

May 11,2024I Purchased two wigs at different times but the color was so wrong I credited the first one and they charge for restocking the second one I really loved the style but again the color was wrong so did an exchange credit . They received the wig back five days ago and have had this money a month now I want to order my wig with the credit but I was told it takes 5-10 business days What a rip off Sadly will be the last time I deal with Godiva secret wigs . The person that answers the phone is not helpful or pleasant You get the feeling she could not care less

Jan 13,2024I believe this could be a hoax. I ordered a topper over a week ok and received a confirmation. When I asked about delivery timing they just responded as “soon”. Still can’t get answers as to when it will be shipped.

Sep 28,2023Been purchasing and wearing GSW’s since 2019. I love them - they are very real looking and comfortable. I wear the toppers. Love the customer service and prompt delivery. I take my pieces to the hair dresser for trims and thinning. Just love the quality and the product. They are beautiful!

Aug 22,2023I have been wearing GSW for over a year now. I like their customer service , shipping is quick and the wigs do look like pictured on the website. But there is one flaw, all of the wigs really look the same. The wig cap is the same. It is comfortable but basically all of the wigs will give you the same look. This is why I cannot give them five stars. I love their accessories, especially the shampoo and conditioner.

Aug 04,2023I have been wearing GSW toppers since the begining of the year. I have 3 Cristi, Curly Top and Bella top. I wear each as my hair length changes and have been complimented on my hair with each of them. I have always worried that people passing when I'm sitting down may be able to ' see the join' but yesterday I saw a photo taken in the pub by a person standing behind me giving a close up of the back of my head. Even I couldn't see where the topper ended and my hair began. I am even more confident in wearing them now. Thankyou ladies. Lesley Partner in the UK🇬🇧

Jul 10,2023Very disappointed. Given that the wig comes in a USPS box and a Ziploc bag, with their popped through tag, it does not rate the stars it gets. It was ill fitting and I am an experienced wig wearer. It was thick in some spots and thin in others. I wouldn't even wear it out to get the mail. It does not resemble in any way the wig shown on their site. I had ordered from them once before and the wig was just "ok." It was very thin and I could see the wefts through the back. I thought I would give them one more shot after a 20% off sale was offered, but I wouldn't even wear this if it was offered for free. Awful. I won't take another chance ordering hoping that the "third time will be the charm." Uh, un. I'm done. What you see is not what I got.

Jun 23,2023Very disappointed!! After watching the videos, the quality of the wigs looked like human hair. The quality of the hair on the Veda wig for $299.00 was horrible. Fooled again by the misleading videos.

May 14,2023First time ordering a wig from Godiva's Secret Wigs. However, I have been watching the videos for 6 months before deciding to try one of the wigs. I ordered Dawn in medium color Ginger Brown. I was suprised in the subpar packing. Arrived in a cardboard USPS mailing box and the outside of the box felt slightly damp. Inside the box was the wig in a plastic bag. No hair net over the wig. I shook out the wig per instructions and placed on my head. Way too much hair on top of this wig. Looked nothing like the pictures in the videos. No layering through the top and the hair felt rough and greasy. I tried to finger style and a greasy residue was left on my hands. The color was pretty which is the only positive I can give. Also, the Velcro adjustment tabs inside the wig looked like this wig was tried on many times or worn and returned. I was very shocked at the poor quality of this wig and am returning immediately.

Apr 13,2023When I first starting wearing one of their toppers, I was pleased - having nothing to compare to. Then they quit carrying my color, so I switched up and ordered another topper in Creamy Toffee. The first one of these was great, however, when it was time to order another topper, the 2nd creamy toffee was def not the exact same topper as the one before. It was thicker and too heavy on top. My stylist had to keep thinning the piece and still I feel it's too heavy and I won't wear it. Since then, I ordered the pony tail clip in. This is nice, but I wish the clip was more comfortable it's sharp on edges and hurts my head after awhile. I may be trying out a new company. *I am wondering, has anyone out there bought a BOX color that matches your hair color well with the CREAMY TOFFEE? If so, which brand and color name please? It's another big expense going to my stylist for colorings...Thank you!

Feb 24,2023I have to say, I’m a bit heartbroken after receiving my Taylor top and clip on bangs. The topper is much thinner than it looks in the videos, and the bangs are just awful. I brushed them both and tried the topper first. It was better than the bangs, I will say that, but not great. I would be afraid to wear it anywhere because it sits weirdly on the top of your head. They say even if your hair is thin, it will work. Not for me. I tried clipping it on and it kept coming off. I’m so disappointed, I have been watching the videos for about a year trying to decide if I want to try a wig. Glad I didn’t waste even more money buying a wig! I’m out $215 dollars for this?!

Feb 04,2023Just got my FREEDOM in Silver Stone and fell in love. But after wearing it for a day I realized the front seam is quite noticeable. I am trying to figure out how to correct that.. on the videos they show you can pull the bangs back and I would like to. But, the seam in front is thick and you can very easily see it is a wig, I am bummed!! Now I can’t return it.

Jan 02,2023I bought a GSW for the first time in Nov. 2022. I ordered Sabrina in silver stone and I love it. I have received so many compliments from the doctor’s PA, to the checker at our grocery store. It saves me time and always looks great! When I ordered my wig, it was out of stock and I had to wait a little while until it was available. In a very short time, I received Sabrina. Great customer service!

Dec 19,2022I have several GS wigs and am very pleased. I have Freedom in four colors and a few others. People are always surprised that I’m wearing a wig and many remarks that they look so natural. I wore freedom in silver stone when I went with a friend to a free dinner offering a way to get out of her time share. The man asked if I was her lawyer LOL! I’ve returned some wigs and had no problem with the process.

Nov 23,2022I have been with Godiva's Secret Wigs since 2015. I enrolled as a consultant by buying 4 wigs at first. I've been buying my long blonde wigs from them ever since, at consultant prices (that's why they get 2 stars instead of 1). I recently got an email that their rules are that you must spend $500 per year to remain a consultant so in November (2022) I ordered 2 of my wigs, planning on buying 2 more in December when I could afford it, to make up my $500 total to remain a consultant. My credit card automatically checks for available coupons and got me almost $50 off my order so I was pleased and ordered. Next day, I got a call from Godiva restating the $500 total needed, that even with this last order i hadn't met it and that I wasn't entitled to coupons as a consultant so they cancelled my order!!! I was stunned and just said "Okay". Then I got upset - even if I DIDN'T remain a consultant I could have been offered SOMETHING for 7 years of purchasing their wigs (almost $3K worth) but instead I was treated as "less than" and cancelled. So. . . I went to Amazon, bought 2 wigs at $27 each (free shipping with Prime) both a pretty darn cute - one more than the other, but at this price I could buy one every month and still be WAY under the $ 500 minimum (for consultants) or at least $450 for 2 retail wigs from them. Lesson learned and I hope readers here will learn as well - Godiva is getting greedy and in so doing has lost a long-term customer.

Nov 10,2022Loved the videos but found all of their products to be sub-par and overpriced for the quality. Much higher than what you find on other reputable wig sites. The worst quality was their topper. Looked like something you'd get from China on eBay for $5 and they sell that for $100+! The clips are too close to the front so if you have thinning hair there is no way to clip these on. I'm sure these ladies mean well but I've yet to get something decent from this company.

Nov 01,2022I have been wearing wigs for over a year now. I researched, watched reviews and shopped before I bought my first wig. I chose GSW for my first and was very impressed (Sabrina). I have ordered others since and not all were meant for me. The return policy was wonderful. I had no trouble at all. Thankful that these affordable wigs are available! I have since purchased wigs from other companies. Usually more expensive and the quality quite comparable. I appreciate Ro and Danielle and the videos they have made for us all. Very informative, very helpful. I don't understand the less than favorable reviews. Every wig that I have purchased has been very nice. They are all a little different. Again, most are very affordable. Basic caps. If you want a different quality, you should visit a store and try on wigs from different manufacturers. I get compliments on my wigs. People cannot tell they are synthetic. When I tell them, they are surprised. Would recommend GSW to anyone wanting a nice, affordable, lovely wig!

Jul 17,2022This company “white labels” their wigs. In other words, the labels inside of the wig are NOT showing the actual manufacturer of the wig. They are selling name brand wigs such as Amore, Noriko, Jon Renau, just to name a few, but giving these wigs a different name and selling them at top dollar. That way you can’t go online and look for a better deal. People who are new to the wig world would never know this unless they know the actual wigs GSW is featuring on their website. They don’t call it “Secret” wigs for nothing! DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM!

Mar 19,2025De gør meget ud af at reklamere for deres parykker og toppers . Køb det ikke. De har ingen kvalitets check på det de sælger. Modtog en top som var en ubeskrivelig stand. En stor "bulk" var klumpet sammen og hårene var syet ind i et stof som slet ikke svarer til dem vi kan købe i Skandinavien. Fik dog pengene retur minus et gebyr. Derudover kommer jo forsendelsen som man jo selv skal betale. I det øjeblik du skriver noget negativt er det slettet umiddelbart efter. Køb ikke hos dem.
