It’s been two weeks since I placed my order for bob ross oil paints. Nothing has arrived. Hope they turn up soon so I can stop being so bored in quarantine.

Brilliant customer service from GreatArt. I had a problem with an order and they went above and beyond to sort it out. I will continue to use them as my 1st choice for art materials.

I was very concerned when I read the reviews about GreatArt on Trustpilot but I decided to place my order anyway, I ordered some Tient Canson-papers from their store and it arrived in perfect conditions and great quality.

Shockingly bad service. Only got part of my order sent to my sister for her birthday in April with the main part of the order missing! No mention of the order being despatched and no mention of the order only part fulfilled! When emailing customer service, they said that my order had been received - well, of course it was received; only part of it!! I wanted to know what the reason was for not getting the rest of the order but I didn't get an answer. Luckily, they hadn't taken the payment for the unsent part of the order as it seems from the other reviews that I'd have trouble getting it back. Worst service ever.

Update: After leaving this review I got an avalanche of messages and emails from Great Art apologizing, blaming warehouse, promising discounts, courier to pick up the box and a refund. And that was the end of story. Quite literally, because another two weeks passed and nothing happened. No courier, no refund, no answering emails. As if Great Art wasn’t merely content with having my money, but also feeling the need to mock me and waste even more of my time. To Great Art: do not bother to reply spinning further lies. Deeds not words. You have all the info needed for refund, you’ve agreed to it. So why not just do it. I’ve purchased Simili paper on several occasions. It’s smooth surface and warm ivory color (as is still stated in the description on the product page) was perfect for printmaking. My last order was a large investment in 12 packs for a big project. I got completely different paper, bright cold white, labeled “blanc” instead. I’ve contacted Great Art and provided photos of both old and new stock. Two weeks later not only Great Art refuses to admit a mistake, but also ignores my request for return. I’ve lost time, more than 100£ in money and a work opportunity. Mistake in packaging would be disappointing but understandable. Attitude and unprofessionalism of so called customer support is just outrageous. After years of being a happy customer I’m never buying from Great Art ever again.

Bought an item three weeks ago. I enquired after two weeks what the status regarding the order was. The reply contradicted itself by saying it had been dispatched, and that once the item had been passed to DHL, DHL would notify me of delivery details etc... If it has not been given to DHL, what are the chances it has not yet been dispatched???. So it could have been cancelled, contrary to what I had been told. Many others getting the same reply to the letter. Can every parcel be in the same situation?? Sadly none of the questions can be answered. Why I hear you think. Because they advise you to call and speak to them. There is nobody answering phones. The voicemail asks you to email them. I’m sure you don’t need to many guesses to know they are now not answering emails, tweets or further phone calls. All round, not a good or acceptable experience. So I am hoping I can get my money back, but last time I tried, I nearly died holding my breath that long. Good luck to you if you go ahead and order, but my advice would be not too.

DO NOT buy from this company! It doesn’t matter how many hundreds of pounds you spend, they don’t send you tracking numbers, they don’t answer the phones, they don’t answer emails. You’ll be waiting, and still waiting for your orders a month later. When you open a Paypal case they lie and tell you that your has been delivered when it can’t possibly have been! I’ve been trying to get just a tracking number for over £100 worth of items, for a week now. Every single day they’re still posting to Facebook, still sending out email promotions trying to convince people to buy - don’t do it! This situation has cause me an unbelievable amount of stress, I’m a self employed, full time artist who needs those materials to work, all I want is the items I paid for, and I presently I can’t even get an email back!

I ordered some art materials for my kids for the lockdown... felt tips, chalks, poster paints and paint brushes as all are out of stock at the supermarket. I ordered them one week ago and they arrived today. One item was missing as it was out of stock and I was not charged for it. When I saw the reviews, I emailed to ask if deliveries were very delayed and I got a reply straight away to say that the parcel had been shipped. I am very happy with the order.

Place my order with this company, the money was taken 23 April and still no contact or delivery at 8th May other than a statement that advises once DPD have the order they will advise on delivery? I've asked for my order to be cancelled and the payment returned. One of their web contacts addresses does not work either.

I know these are difficult times, but Great Art should be glad they are still doing business, unlike many companies. They are impossible to contact, delivery times are appalling (because they ship from Germany, which they don’t make clear on the website) and returns have to be paid for by the customer. I will never use them again.

I honestly can't believe just how bad my buying experience has been...and continues to be, because I still haven't received my items! I assume I never will. I've tried to make contact with 'GreatArt' many times; by telephone and email and I have had no joy. I can only assume I've been a victim of a scam and I've lost my money as well as the purchased items. It's a sad world with people like this in it and I'm sorry they are allowed to trade. I wish I read the poor reviews before I placed my order.

I reviewed my Opinion. It has been delivered on time ( last day). But It's impossible to contact them They hang out and don't answer the emails. Finally they did when I told them I will cancel my order. Lack of communication but good prices in the shop.

Ordered weeks ago still have not had any delivery, try to get through customer services and can’t get any reply after several attempts! Really fed up with Great Art will be the last time I order from them!!

The company gave fun extras with my wallpaper inside that were unexpected, the quality of the wallpaper itself is really good, sturdy and clear. I recommend this company if you want a good wallpaper at least and i think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

The phone is not answered, I tried for over 3 hours. You get an answer service which puts you through to Customer Service which does not answer. This service then times out, a weak male voice asks you to leave a message and then the answer machine messages are full. So I have scrolled through feedback on here and tried some of their contacts. feedback at great art - email addy does not exist Contact at great art - email does not accept emails Welcome at great art - email addy does exist no reply I just want a status update on my order...

Today’s workshop @lifedrawinganimation hosted by Aaron Jacob Jones was just amazing. Such an innovative and challenging afternoon. Our model Manko was just incredible to hold the one pose through the session. Thank you to the very talented Aaron and Great Art for this free event. Hope to attend may more!!

Appalling delivery and customer service. Products are excellent but delivery appalling. I waited in all day for a delivery. At 4.30 I contacted Great Art to find out when it would arrive. They gave me a tracking number. When I contacted the delivery company Dachser I discovered that they had made the decision not to deliver at 2pm that day due to traffic jams. No one had bothered to inform me. They also refused to deliver to a neighbour despite that request being on my order form.That meant I would have to take another day off. I have ordered from Great art for over ten years and have never encountered such delivery issues. Often a neighbour has signed and taken delivery of my goods. But now with Dachser that is impossible. I have made a complaint to Great Art but so far I have been ignored. Terrible customer service.

I have waited 8 days for my delivery - the tracking link doesn't work and customer service is appalling (when you can get hold of them) - I believe everything comes from Germany, but there appears to be serious shortcomings with their shipping infrastructure and the disinterested, aggressive customer service staff only compounds your misery, which is a pity because their prices aren't too bad.

Not being delivered from the UK!! I see your large London shop, your great products etc, so I place an order. Five days after placing that order it's not even in country. If I'd known it was being shipped from Germany, I would have gone somewhere else!!
