About After creating the first Silver Polish with an anti-tarnish agent, William J. Hagerty founded the Hagerty Company in 1895 in South Bend, United States. Neighbours and friends were his first customers, he then began to receive postal orders. In the 1950s, new high-quality jewellery and silverware cleaners were developed by the grandsons of W. J. Hagerty.

For 125 years, the company has been developing and distributing specific care products for jewellery, watches and accessories, decorative objects, tableware, rugs and textiles and many other surfaces.
