We booked our wedding with Heaton House Farm after seeing it on don't tell the bride! Our wedding was in August 2023 and was the best day of our lives. This venue was incredible not only to look at but also due to the wonderful staff. Nothing was too much, communication was great and help was given when ever needed. I couldn't recommend this venue more. It looks beautiful on pictures, the hen house is an amazing touch and made getting ready smooth and enjoyable. Jo our wedding co ordinator was an angel and always there for help and guidance. Food by Stabletard catering was amazing and our guests still talk about it weeks later. Get booking you won't regret it 💗

Anyone looking for a brilliant wedding, I strongly recommend Heaton House Farm! Everything is thought out thoroughly for you, so less stress! The venue is gorgeous, so less decorations needed. The suppliers they recommend are such high quality you don't need to look any further, less time spent looking. The price of the venue is clearly mapped out for you, no difficult calculations required or unwanted add on costs you didn't ask for. They were honestly brilliant!

6 months after we got married here I thought it was about time I wrote my review. What can I say? The girls that helped to organise our wedding couldn't of been anymore helpful, they're amazing at their jobs and the day couldn't of gone anymore perfect for us. From arriving, to the end of the evening everything was exactly how we imagined. A big thank you to Chloe for all she did for us, she's amazing and such a lovely girl and I'm so glad she was our wedding planner. Sadly, there was a downside to our wedding which has taken 6 months to resolve... A couple of days ago the security guard working the evening of our wedding has finally been arrested. To cut a long story short, we realised we were missing a couple of cards which after embarrassingly asking all of our guests we found out we were missing 13 cards totaling nearly £1000 inside of them. For a few days after the wedding we were so upset and couldn't believe this had happened to us after paying £10,500 for just the venue hire. You wouldn't expect something like this to happen at such a prestigious venue. The venue contract a security company, so the blame got pointed at them instead of Heaton House Farm. The security company did finally give us our stolen money back which took nearly 6 weeks, plus £200 but that's only because I emailed and asked for some sort of compensation. We was even offered a stay in a hotel in Manchester, which when reading the poor trip advisor reviews for the hotel I asked for just the £200 as I think he offered us the hotel stay as a joke. The venue never offered us any compensation, no flowers, not even a card to say sorry that this happened at their venue, and I never actually heard from them since they checked the CCTV which was very disappointing and has left me slightly bitter about the place; especially with them putting so much effort in to make our day so special, we expected them to put just as much effort in with the robbery but sadly didn't. I would like to raise another issue that left me downhearted with the venue too - We originally booked the venue back in 2019 and the price we booked it at for a Saturday in May 2021 was £7,500 but due to covid we was given options to move our wedding date. The venue offered different options but if you wanted to postpone it was only up to a year after the original date to move it to, and also subject to the most up to date venue hire. All the saturdays were already booked and weekdays didn't suit my partners set holidays from work and with originally booking it on a Saturday in spring/summer that's the day we wanted... regretfully we had to pay an extra £3000 for the luxury of wanting it on the next available Saturday of 2022 which alot of venues honored prices to couples whose weddings got moved due to covid. I am aware businesses were impacted due to covid and they had to get their money back somehow. I am self employed myself and sadly lost 9 months worth of income and couldn't claim for any grants, but I didn't charge my clients extra when I did go back to work. Overall, we spent alot of money here nearly £20,000 with this venue as we used their caterers too. We got robbed because of covid, and robbed because they contract a security company who don't do enough background checks on their employees. Our day was perfect, but the above issues has taken the shine off this venue for us.

We recently got married at Heaton House Farm on 4th July 2021. Our initial date should have been 5 weeks earlier but when the original roadmap was announced back in February we made the decision to move our date in the hope of having a normal wedding. Unfortunately the end of lockdown was extended but we were determined our wedding was still going ahead and we weren't waiting any longer whatever the restrictions in place. Nicola was our dedicated events coordinator and she was just fantastic throughout, every question we had, she came up with an answer or a solution straight away. She even came to the rescue when I had a dress mishap just before walking down the aisle!! We had the chance to go for food tasting despite having already made our choices, this was brilliant and filled us with so much confidence and excitement that although there would be some restrictions in place, our wedding would still be a brilliant day. Each and everyone of our guests commented on how amazing the venue was, the staff, the food, it was just fantastic. Thank you to everyone at Heaton House for making our day perfect!!

My Daughters wedding was amazing . Originally booked for July 2020 and delayed Due to Government incompetence , originally it was annoying and then accepting that this was not our fault or Heaton House Farms. What can I say apart from Heaton house has a business to run and they can only do their best in the current climate. We had contact with the venue all the way to the day and they accommodated every eventuality . Harriot & Nicola were totally exceptional , seriously well organised and were on top of everything all day. When we had a question they had the answer, even when problems occurred that were nothing to do with the venue , they were superbly helpful. The day was beyond expectation considering we had the civil ceremony followed by the Hindu ceremony almost right after. The venue was run like a well oiled machine with superb customer service and the attention to detail was better than expected. suffice to say everything went off very smoothly and our guests were just amazed at the venue , the staff and the whole day . We stayed overnight and the rooms were absolutely immaculate followed by a superb breakfast which i would highly recommend to anyone. Thankyou to the owners and all the staff at Heaton house for a wedding that will be remembered for years to come . I would happily recommend this venue to anyone who wants a superb day to remember .

We experienced the same problem as previous customers review. Not a place to book your perfect wedding during these difficult times because once they have your money it their rules and you either accept what they give you or loose a large sum of your money. They were forcing us to cancel in May and stated they would keep £250.00 but we were hoping government guidance would change as my daughter was getting married there the end of August 2020. What we did not expect was the amount they would keep because we wanted to wait a little longer before we made a decision to cancel. Later in June we were unable to contact the venue as their telephone lines remained disconnected, the venue has been closed since lock down and remains closed, we had planned for 300 guests and were told via email that we had to reduce our guest numbers to meet government guidance with the same cost for venue or postpone to a date that was only suitable for them, we wanted to wait to see if anything changed with government guidance but was told that if we did not accept the refund minus £3,600 we would incur further unrecoverable costs!!!! these included rent, marketing, salary. We argued that these costs are not directly associated with our wedding but they refused to communicate with us apart from emails. As they were closed we really hoped that the government guidance would change but then at the beginning of August it was announced ‘No Receptions’ We requested a telephone call or a virtual meeting but all was declined. This has been far the most stressful time for us. We were happy for them to keep part of our deposit but to keep £3,600 is just not acceptable considering we have not received a service from the venue at all. Therefore unless you want them to have control I would advise you not to consider this venue during current unsettling times. They think they are the only business affected by COVID. This has caused my daughter and her partner a great amount of stress and as they were both under extreme stress as doctors working on the front lines to saves lives there was no compassion from the venue during these difficult times. They feel it is reasonable to offer a Friday or a Monday next year when we had booked on a Sunday before a bank holiday giving our guests time to travel before and after the wedding. A real lack of professionalism when you refuse to speak to your customers

We initially booked my daughter’s wedding at this venue because of the reviews and the reputation it held as a renowned wedding venue. However, unfortunately, due to the Government guidelines issued in late June regarding no more than 30 people attending a wedding because of Covid-19, we were unable to hold the wedding at the venue. This company has now advised that they will not refund us £2000 as they have incurred this amount in administration expenses. When asked for a breakdown of what these expenses have included, we have not received a response, despite two weeks of requesting this information from them. We even offered them £500 in respect of administration expenses. The whole situation has been extremely stressful. I certainly would not recommend this venue to anyone, especially during such stressful and trying times. Their stance on the situation has been wholly unjustified and unreasonable. Anyone dealing with them must also be prepared to go to the expense of hiring a legal team. I will not recommend anyone to use this venue unless you want to stress and be out of pocket.
