Since Storm Eunice put a tree through one of buildings H&L have been delying every step of th way in agreeing to our claim. They have also taken months to propos how much they will re-imburse us which is 25% less than the 3 quotes we provided. The whole process feels like a scam, with no transparency of how the process works or how they get to numbers. We are 7 months in and have no end in sight. DO NOT USE
1. Never answer the phone, they say leave a message they will phone you back - they don't. 2. Take your claim details then never process them. 3. Tell you to do one thing, then months later go back on it to delay you even further. 4. DELAY DELAY DELAY DELAY - YOU GET NOTHING and WILL BE UNHAPPY. I urge you NOT TO INSURE with this company because they just take your money and delay delay delay. I will be reporting to FCA for incompetence and not treating customers fairly. Not sure more than two people actually work there and then maybe only one day a week given their zero progress and communication with my claim.

Dec 18,2022I insured two properties with this company. One of the two was sold on 20 October, the insurers were notified of the sale and that this part of the insurance was no longer required. Have I seen the refund of the balance owing to me on the part of the policy just about two months later? No. I haven't yet received the refund. None of this is rocket science. None of this is complicated. Hey ho, this is not what anyone can remotely call customer service. UPDATE >>> I have now heard from the brokers that Home & Legacy did return the refund to them. Thank you Home & Legacy. I am happy to update this review.
