Sep 16,2024As a charity we are using iDonate for many years now and recently decided to use their new tap app to set up a fundraiser. I got into a bit of trouble and needed Customer support but it was outside working hours. Within 15 minutes of the email being sent, Mark contacted me, he worked with me over the phone to rectify the issue so that we could fundraise at an upcoming fundraiser. It is a fantastic app and tool, no need for card readers anymore and I'd encourage anyone thinking of using it, to try it for themselves. Sep 09,2024iDonate is a shocking outfit. We set up our page, carrying out all the verifications and inputting all necessary details. Then, after a day or two, they approved it - so, of course, we started sharing it as widely as possible via our socials, direct messages, emails, etc. Then they took it down, claiming “inflammatory” language had been flagged by their system “automatically” - clearly a lie as their “system” had already approved it. Everyone we'd share it with then finds a dead page because of this. When we phoned them, they mumbled some nonsense before claiming, absurdly, that our photo ID approval - which had been completed online around 48 hrs previously - needed to be done again. We expressed our exasperation at their appalling antics, maybe a little emotionally, then they closed our whole account. It could well just be sheer, utter ineptitude, but that's really no excuse. Disgraceful and disturbing clowns. Leave well alone.
