Having been lucky enough to have had 3 Inc Sols training packages in three different local authorities, I thought it time to put in a review! The team at Inc Sol create a pretty magical experience in training, they enthuse, make things seem possible and have a way of getting everyone to buy in. I hope one day, I will be half as an effective facilitator as Colin or Elliot but for now, I am overjoyed that they have taught me enough to make changes for children, families and schools. The process works and it is evident in the feedback I have gotten. The online school somehow manages to do the same and I always look forward to logging in and receiving something new to try. In a sentence- my practice has changed, 100% for the better and I am a happier EP as I can believe in what I am doing. Thank you
Thank you for your time today. It really was very uplifting to be part of a solution focussed group and share ideas, experience and reflections. I have already looked at your website and I will definitely be visiting it again to help in my preparation for EP interviews.
Just a quick note to thank both you and Elliot for a great couple of days of PATHs training for our EP service. I think it has challenged us all to be more inclusive in our practise but, perhaps more importantly, given us another tool which translates inclusive thinking into inclusive practise. All the while being a fun and enjoyable experince - you can't ask for more than that!
Our EPS really enjoyed the graphic facilitation training this week. We learned so much during the interactive and fun session. Thank you!
The webinar was really insightful and allowed me to really get to grips with the idea of Solution Circles. It was also an opportunity to share ideas with other professionals.
If you want to try the approach 'Circles of Friends', or just learn about it, this is the resource. Also prompt delivery. Highly recommended.
Good service quick and efficient. Ordered book from them which was easy to order, arrived quickly and it was a helpful volume that supported what I was researching. Good service I would trust this organisation again if I needed to contact them for anything.
The book I ordered arrived in NZ very quickly. Great service.
I attended the Autism Awareness webinar series led by Colin and Elliot. Each webinar was extremely informative and well organised. I thoroughly enjoyed the collaborative nature of each webinar, with group activities and discussions encouraged throughout. The sessions catered for individuals with different levels of knowledge and expertise, however, Colin and Elliot made sure that the pace of each webinar suited everyone. If you are looking for an informative, personal and practical training series then I couldn't recommend the Inclusive Solutions team enough!
A great review of how sensory supersensitivities impact on autistic children and need to be considered in understanding their behaviour. Well organised and presented.
This session on autism and sensory sensitivities has been hugely enlightening. Really helpful and thought provoking activities. Colin really tapped in to how our own aversions to certain sights, sounds, touch, smells or tastes (mine's the noise of the vacuum cleaner, the feel of a slug or being tickled by someone, the smell of sweaty feet and the taste of sand) can help us to empathise with the experience of autistic individuals. Colin also provides creative ideas to help us adapt our environments and has helpful suggestion for support and coping strategies to employ. Colin emphasises always putting the individual at the centre of the planning and prioritising hearing their voice. Another great session. Thank you, Colin.
I have been to a few training sessions in the past where trainers read through a huge PowerPoint, leaving little room to digest the content. However, the training I received through Inclusive Solutions was by far the opposite. The 'Understanding Anxiety' training was eye-opening and provided relevant content and a safe space to help explore a complex topic. Colin and Elliot were on hand to answer any questions and made newcomers feel comfortable. As a primary school teacher moving into the field of Educational Psychology, I found it extremely useful and will be able to apply the training to my current role and my future career.
A really useful course, delivered well in tricky circumstances! This was very informative and will definitely help me to support staff to better understand children and the issues they are facing, as well as allowing us to find solutions that are well focused and can have an immediate impact. It was really useful to have guided practice, as this allowed us to see where we might run into procedural issues. I look forward to using this in my practice!
Great. A well paced course, covering key points and a good focus on helpful responses.
Attended a range of Inclusive Solutions webinars over the past month - they've been fantastic! So interesting, informative and full of ideas and strategies to put into practice with a wide range of more in-depth courses available to further develop learning around specific topics. It's been wonderful to access such quality CPD - thank you!
Colin and Elliot delivered a really informative and enlightening restorative justice webinar session. The session struck a really great balance between theory, practical application and opportunities to discuss topics and issues raised in small groups. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you :)
Thanks Colin for an informative and engaging session. I have attended your sessions before and always gain new insights and further develop my thinking and practice. It was nice to meet other professionals from across the country and share ideas during the webinar. Thank you again.
I've been using and teaching about MAPS since the 90s mainly within an educational setting. The videos offered some new insights in the process itself and the way I can introduce it to students
Really helpful to have time to think about chairing meetings. Great to hear ideas from others in an interactive way. The breakout rooms work really well and it is great to have a copy of the graphic to help as a reminder. Thank you.
