KMG Training is a small family run business. Our goal is to provide a one stop solution for high quality but affordable training. We aim to be able to provide all of the necessary training for your organisation to remain HSE compliant. We can provide First Aid Training ranging from a couple of hours Basic Life Support up to Catastrophic bleeding control, Oxygen Therapy and Specialist Forestry First Aid training. We can also provide specialist training in a range of other subjects such as Health and Safety, FIre Safety, Manual Handling and Safeguarding.
What really makes us stand out is that our lead trainer also has over ten years of front-line clinical experience with the emergency services as well as over 15 years’ experience in First Aid training. Because we are a small company with a low-cost structure there are a number of benefits to working with us:
We can be flexible in the structure and delivery of your training. Would you like bespoke course content? No problem! Would you prefer your training delivered over a series of evenings rather than in one day? We can facilitate that.
When booking a course, you will deal directly with the trainer delivering your training.
Because we are a smaller company with few overheads our pricing is extremely competitive, we can afford to deliver high quality training for significantly less than the larger national training organisations.

You are also booking their knowledge and experience from years of front-line clinical care and training delivery. All our training is accredited by First Aid Awards Ltd, which is an OFQUAL and SQA Registered Awarding Organisation.

Apr 22,2024I highly recommend KMG training for all your First Aid training needs. I completed a FREC3 qualification which is a 5 day course, this enables me to be a First Responder. Kris kept the training engaging and interesting throughout, he included lots of first hand experiences as examples which really helps reinforce the information. He was also incredibly patient with everyone regardless of their skill level. I feel really confident about using my new skills out in the community or at events now because of all the brilliant scenarios that were included on the course. This was 5 days of intensive learning but KMG made it enjoyable so much so that I’m going to look in to further training with them in the near future.

All of his teachings were so thorough and I now feel confident in any situation I am put into as a first responder. The course was very well organised with breaks in between . Not only did I learn so much but I also had fun doing it and that is down to KMG . I wouldn’t use any other training company now! Thank you so much KMG!!

Jul 16,2022Fab! Kris was kind, welcoming and very thorough. I have been first aid trained for 6 years, this by far was the most in depth and well explained course. It had a lovely flow, with breaks in between. I’ve come away feeling even more confident in my understanding of first aid. Working in a kids soft play centre, this comes in extremely helpful! Thankyou Kris, will be back in 3 years!!

Jun 12,2022I attended a First Aid at Work course with KMG Training, and would highly recommend them. The whole day was brilliantly planned, the trainer had a fantastic level of knowledge and understanding, and I left the course feeling confident that I could handle any situation that required First Aid. The trainer made the whole day very enjoyable, each module was explained in an easy-to-understand way and was backed up with anecdotal stories that really brought the world of First Aid to life - when you have examples of times when the various skills have come in useful, it helps you understand why you do what you do. The equipment used was also excellent, a particular highlight was that used for the choking/abdominal thrust - to be able to actually try the procedure rather than just talking about it made a huge difference to my confidence. I have been on First Aid courses in the past but have always found them rather ‘dry’; however this was enjoyable, entertaining and informative, thus making it easier for me to retain the information. I truly believe that First Aid training is a skill everyone should have, and this was proved to me shortly after I went on the course when my little boy fell over and sustained a nasty laceration - I immediately knew what to do, and felt confident and well-equipped to deal with it. I have KMG Training to thank for that, and whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a First Aid Course of the highest quality.
