Sep 29,2023For the EICR certificate, they come and charge you and then fail you. Even if you have highlighted what needs to be fixed, they won't fix it there and then. They charge you for the survey (but they don't tell you that). When they fail you, they send you a list of remedial work, some are really petty, but it adds up to hundreds of pounds if not thousands. You pay them, they sent 1 person to do it in 1 hr, materials cost little in comparison, you get your certificate and they have taken your money. This is a scam and the good reviews on here are mostly fakes

Sep 19,2023Did a job for us in May. In August, a part they fitted developed a fault and despite the work being under warranty for 12 months, London Electrix have repeatedly ignored my emails, phone calls and text messages. We gave up on them 4 weeks ago, and had to pay someone else to come out and remedy the issue. Their opinion of the faulty part was that London Electrix had fitted something of inferior quality and it was possibly not new even though that's what we were paying for. I would avoid this company. The original job wasn't cheap either, £1200 for 2 hours work, but we were desperate to get our lighting working again. We won't make that mistake again.

Dec 26,2022Not only was it the first company I called after a google search, but immediate response in re-assuring a speedy urgent visit. Our Fuse box blew and broke our oven, which potentially was a disastrous Christmas Day. Excellent customer service, very polite and lovely when we were extremely stressed. Would highly recommend.

Aug 25,2022After a failed EICR, London Electrix sent an electrician to the rental property the morning after I contacted them and he installed a new consumer unit (fuse box) quickly and efficiently. Tenants were due to move in the next day so I'm very grateful to Nik and co for the last minute installation. I intend to use London Electrix again after this experience.

Jun 23,2022I should have read the google review before booking London Electrix service. After their so-called engineer coming in to do a checking, they promised same day for the report to come through but ended up 4 days. And what came through was another bill along with the “unsatisfactory” report and the remedial work. No wonder I was told that my report was not “necessary” to be satisfactory when I was chasing for the report. Understand it is based on how the actual circumstances are but i got the impression that chances are people will usually get another bill costing few hundred pounds on top for the after work following the inspection. What is frustrating is they even charge me for “To supply and fit a light switch”. Another item that is unnecessary is “To supply and fit a new SPD (Surge Protective Device)”, I have checked with another contractor and was told this item is out of scope but they put in the bill and asked me to Pay for it as part a remedial work. They sent in engineer, they failed your report and they asked you to pay for extra money to get a satisfactory report. How would anyone feel this company way of handling EICR matter In a trustful way of doing business? I STRONGLY WOULD NOT recommend this company as I have a strong skeptical feeling of this company and will go to another company to follow up with my EICR report.

As the whole electrical wiring is awful in the house to say it short - every time I had an electrician coming over to fix the issues - great job was done! Guys are friendly, polite and have a neat way of doing their job. I'm very happy with results and their services! Highly recommend

Feb 01,2022The team were very helpful. They took away one of the lights to investigate the problems and then came back in to repair and install the others. Repairs all took place in an afternoon and they did a neat and tidy job. It's a problem with the lights that had been on going for some months and we'd had 3 or 4 other electricians in to look at it with no joy. So very pleased to finally have it resolved.

The technicians turned up promptly on the day and did a great job and were very professional - especially in protecting my wooden floor around the boiler and clearing up afterwards. Nov 25,2021I needed an EICR electrical safety certificate within 48hrs. London Electrix understood the urgency and acted fast, giving me an appointment the following day. The engineer that conducted the tests was thorough, professional, efficient, friendly and respectful. He also took the time to answer my questions about the testing itself and the requirements for the certificate. I received my certificate the following day. Very reasonable price for a very quick, efficient, professional, trustworthy service. Definitely recommend. Thank you!

Jun 08,2021I had London Electrix do an EICR test. They came back with a list of items it failed on, and they sent me photos. There was exposed wires, and they said I needed a new Consumer Board. I agreed to the works based on Health and safety to the tenants at the property. They charged me 2500, and I paid there invoice, and I received the EICR cert as passed. I then did a site visit, to find that the wires were still exposed. I was shocked that they issued and EICR cert to say it was safe and passed. I called me and told me it was an error in their part. I really do think they ripped me off, and did not do as they had failed the EICR test on first visit due to cables being exposed, but they still did not carry out the works, and still issued the EICR cert saying it had passed. Sep 18,2024Engaged to install fire alarm to 4 flats. Only did 3. Did not provide any manuals/documentation. Chased them 15 times to finish the work, but they ignored me & fobbed me off. Do NOT even consider using them.
