Aug 23,2023Very happy with my experience with MedicHut for both UCAT 1-1 tuition + the masterclass as well as their 1-1 interview prep with a tutor. The company was able to set me up with a tutor within 48hrs which allowed me to get right into it. My tutor Patrycja was so friendly and helpful- she helped me improve my UCAT technique a lot, as well as on short notice preparing me very well for my Sheffield interview. The company also organised a mock interview for me with another fabulous tutor which was so useful. I could not have got my offer to study medicine at Sheffield without all their help.

The information covered was really helpful in getting to understand what to expect as a first-year medical student. It was also helpful since the host was a 5th-year medical student, so we got to ask her some more specific inquiries. Sofia did a wonderful job answering my questions and my peer's despite all of us intending to study at different universities. Her approach was beneficial and encouraging! I have already recommended Medichut and Sofia to my friends in Medicine.

Jul 30,2023The masterclasses are really helpful, as I have taken one on the UCAT and one on writing the personal statement, and I think that the personal statement one was better. We had the tutor, Ikrah, who had a very enthusiastic and fun vibe that made the 7-hour masterclass fly by and gave us all the information needed. They also went through and gave us feedback on our back with the help of Oluchi which was also very helpful. Overall, I enjoyed it and took the benefit that I wanted. I think now that I'll be able to write my personal statement at my best after that

Jul 30,2023The personal statement masterclass was really good! My tutor was Ikrah and I got feedback from Oluchi. Ikrah made the session interactive which was really nice. I loved how we got feedback on what we wrote and all the help that we got in actually structuring the personal statement. I really liked learning about the buzzwords and using them to shorten sentences.

Jul 25,2023It was a great learning experience. Listening to Dr.Madeleine Witcomb make her way through the lecture was very informative. She explained things in a way that was both scientific and easy to understand. Syed was perfect too. Not only was the lecture great and super funny but the practicals where we actually got to speak to actor patients gave us a realistic feel of how a day in the hospital would work. Definitely helped me a lot and I had a lot of fun. Thank you!

Jul 25,2023It was a really interactive and fun experience. Dr Madeline Witcomb taught me a lot and I was able to apply my new knowledge to simulated scenarios. However, I found that we were not told much about the conditions we were trying to diagnose to be able to explain to the patient well enough.
