Aug 16,2024I used medichut for some online medical work experience which provided really useful to me during my interviews. I booked an interview course at broad street in Birmingham and the slideshows provided a lot of information which was useful to me during my medicine journey. On the second day I attended the masterclass which I made some friends in and which I really enjoyed with the mock interview being very similar to my actual interviews with very friendly interviewers. Following this I booked some sessions using medichut where my tutors were amazing and gave me a lot of confidence and a lot of useful links to do further research. Today I can confidently say I have got my firm place to do medicine at the university of Manchester 🫶

Aug 15,2024Bought the package. The most useful bit was the interview practices with current medical students. Got 4/4 medicine offers, from Oxford, imperial, ucl and kings. Would recommend it but kind of wish the price was cheaper. If I'm back to Y12 right now, to save some money, I wouldn't buy the full package, I would only get the tuition hours and use them on interview practices. The other bits of the package (such as those interactive UCAT advice webinars) kind of contains information that you can already find online somewhat easily.

Aug 13,2024I wouldn't recommend this crash course. The content is packed into short sessions with minimal breaks, which makes it overwhelming and hard to absorb. It's also not interactive enough, leaving you feeling lost at times. As a widening participation student, I expected more value for money, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. After the two days, there was no follow-up support, which felt very disconnected. A WhatsApp group or some way to continue asking questions and interacting with tutors would have been really helpful. Overall, I feel it was a waste of both money and time.

I loved the positive energy I got from Anna as she made what would've been quite a stressful time manageable and our goals realistic and achievable through her willingness to answer questions and her patience throughout the session.

Jul 29,2024I am absolutely over the moon with my results! I have sat the UCAT 3 times now and was feeling so worn down from the first 2 tries. The first time I got 2620 and a band 3 and the second time I got 2400 and a band 3. I began to hate the UCAT and believed I just couldn’t do it and wasn’t smart enough. Then I found medic hut and decided to give it one last try. I purchased the 10 lesson package and was paired with my amazing tutor Naree. I instantly I felt so much more confident and gained a new understanding of how to answer the questions and manage my time well. I can’t thank Naree enough she has been amazing and has supported me every step of the way. I sat my UCAT today and achieved 3020 and a band 2 in SJT and I’m still in disbelief! If you’re in the same position as I was and don’t have the confidence, try Medic Hut tuition! The feeling of opening up my score report and seeing such a high score is the most amazing feeling!

Jul 19,2024Syed offered a very engaging experience which kept me on my feet at all times, I have ADHD which causes me to get distracted very easily, even by small stimuli. Moreover, I find it harder to concentrate in subjects which do not perfectly fit my interest, however my attention span was at an all time high and I lost concentration very few times.
