May 05,2024Messly was an excellent way to connect with agencies who offered the types of work I was looking for. Their OneRef system is a very easy and convenient way to collect references, which avoids the need for your referees to fill out multiple forms for different agencies. The app itself can be quite glitchy, but it does the job. The jobs advertised are more "examples" rather than live jobs, and as such don't give any specifics about dates, shift patterns, and contract lengths - you seem to need to register with agencies if you want up-to-date and accurate lists of what they have available. Overall a really useful service and would recommend it to all new locums.

For me the highlights were that all my documents could be in one place so I wasn't having to repeat what can be a laborious process with each agency that I applied to. I also appreciated that the agencies come to you, rather than having to search yourself. The whole process was more streamlined.
