Dec 16,2023MiCuba arranged almost everything for our stay in Cuba. The drivers they arranged were, without exception, on time, the excursion were with local guides who spoke English and the casa's were well situated and also the owners spoke English. The casa's are, in general, not big but perfectly fine for a short stay and have running warm water and WiFi. Some offer dinner options but all served breakfast (lots of fruit and scrambled eggs). The excursions suggested by MiCuba were good, and gave us a wonderful overview of the nature and people in Cuba.

Nov 24,2023Wij hebben erg genoten van onze rondreis door west-Cuba georganiseerd door MiCuba. Wij hebben gekozen voor privévervoer. Dat bleek een goede keuze omdat we op verschillende plekken over problemen met huurauto's gehoord en we hebben het probleem met het verkrijgen van brandstof gezien. Achteraf hadden we voor meer casa's moeten kiezen. Deze waren erg mooi en plezierig om te verblijven. Alle transfers waren prachtig op tijd. Dat geldt ook voor de excursies. Al met al een mooie reis.

Aug 31,2023Habana, Viñales , las Terrazas, Playa Larga, Cienfuegos, Trinidad y Varadero, una ruta estupenda y unos destinos preciosos. Lo que más nos gustó fue Viñales y tambien "Casa Cristal", porqué las visitas las pudimos hacer solos nada de turismo masificado, y recibimos una acogida y atención muy personalizada y amable en el alojamiento, que mejoró la experiencia en la localidad. Tambien muy hermosa y gran nivel de confort la "Casa Mi Cuba" en Trinidad, La visita guiada a la Habana vieja fue excelente y muy bién preparada por el guía, siempre muy atento. La interacción con todos los propietarios de las casas que te acogen permiten acercarte mejor a la cultura cubana, mucho mejor que hacer la ruta en Hoteles. Un viaje inolvidable, com bellos paisajes, contacto directo con la entrañable gente de Cuba y su música. Los guías fueron todos unos execelentes consejeros, atentos y en diposición immediata para atendrete y asesorarte , te hacen el viaje relajado y tranquilo.

Mijn experiment met Micuba was fantastisch. Uitleg over het land was perfect alles wat je wilt vragen kon je vragen. -Transfer was top chauffeur op tijd - tour guide was fantastische alle historie van het land gezien Ga zo door Gr Edith

Aug 18,2023De informatie vooraf was erg duidelijk. Een Nederlandse reisagente (Monique) staat open voor al jouw vragen. Zij neemt zeer gedetailleerd de reis met jouw door. Tijdens de reis waren de taxi's ruim op tijd aanwezig. De mensen zijn super vriendelijk. De casa's waar wij in hadden gezeten voldeden aan alle verwachtingen. Cuba is als toerist makkelijk te bereizen (taxi's). Casa Tona in Trinidad is echt de favoriet. De lokale reisgids (Yunior) is 24/7 mobiel bereikbaar voor alles. Wij hebben een dag van te voren een excursie omgeboekt en dat heeft Yunior zo geregeld. Het reisschema is met zorg samengesteld en op jouw wensen afgestemd. Kortom, geweldig gedaan. Dank je wel Micuba :)

Not only did MiCuba do an excellent job in the preparation of our trip by selecting all the unique casa particulares, making numerous suggestions for excursions, lunch/ dinner locations and providing us with useful general information about the country as such, also the actual trip itself they organized for us was amazing. Everything was so well arranged - the accommodations, the transfers, the excursions; they did a great job! Aug 10,2023we went to Cuba as a family for 3 weeks. 2 children 16 and 14 years old. We made a tour of Havana-Vinjales-Trindad-Cayo Coco- Varadero. In the first three places we stayed in the casas. In the last two we had hotels all inclusive. Cuba is very impressive and very interesting to go to. The impressions we have gained are great. We have done many activities with a private guide. Here you will hear a lot about the country. There is a major economic crisis in Cuba, you cannot ignore this. However, as a tourist you will not be bothered by this. There is plenty of choice in the restaurants. Also for vegetarians. You must bring enough cash with you, as it is difficult or impossible to get money there. Definitely recommended. A mix of culture and nature.

Aug 04,2023Wij zijn van 10 tot 24 juli 2023 op rondreis geweest in Cuba. Het was bijzonder en over alles wat we gedaan hebben, echt alles zijn we heel erg enthousiast!! Monique van MiCuba had voor ons een fantastisch en afwisselend programma samengesteld. We verbleven in casas particulares; echt elke keer weer anders, super goed verzorgd en heel veel gastvrijheid!! Ja, in Cuba is weinig te krijgen, maar ook zoveel: de gastvrijheid, de historie van het land, de prachtige natuur: onbetaalbaar. Havana, Trinidad, Vinales, Playa Larga (varkensbaai), Cienfuegas, Sancti Spiritus, Santa Clara. Het eten af en toe zo lekker, bij mensen thuis en in kleine restaurantjes, maar in een Staatsloterij geweest en dat was - in verhouding - duur en niet te hachelen. Veel met een gids op stap geweest in de steden maar ook in de natuur. Te paard, oldtimers, veel oldtimers, een legertruck, een scooter, fietsen, kokosnoot-taxi, zipline. Veel gehoord over de historie van het land, het koloniale en slavernijverleden, de verzelfstandiging, de revolutie en natuurlijk de huidige situatie. Cuba is niet te vergelijken met enig andere land. Een boeiend en heel afwisselend land voor actieve en nieuwsgierige mensen, waar zoveel te zien, te horen en te doen is, waar je met een verblijf in een resort of hotel geen recht aan doet. Bereid je wel goed voor: neem mee wat je weg kunt geven: paracetomol, tandpasta, zeep, aanstekers, pennen…. Neem ook mee wat je zelf nodig hebt: een lamp en ventilator met usb oplader, koekjes, een powerbank en voldoende contante euro's/dollars voor je gehele verblijf. De door MiCuba geregelde excursies, waren zonder uitzondering, de moeite waard, meestal met een enthousiaste eigen gids, ook met een kleine-maar altijd leuke- groepjes, Gidsen die zonder uitzondering veel wisten en wilden vertellen met passie en niet alleen gelikte praatjes vertelden over het hedendaagse Cuba, wat zo anders is dan hoe wij het hier in Nederland hebben. Kortom, een dikke vette aanrader om op avontuur en ontdekking te gaan naar Cuba, juist nu! Oh ja, wees een beetje gul met het geven van tips/fooien aan de Cubanen.

Jun 07,2023Cuba is way nicer and better holiday destination from what I expected! People are so kind and amazing, the beaches and beautiful and the country is super interest to experience. Micuba was amazing to help us organize everything! A part of all the good casas particulares and all the best in class tours and transport - they also supplied us with the right and updated information regards the country situation, gave us nice tips important and super useful tips. We extremely recommend. The casas particulares are the best options to proper experience Cuba they are little B&B with all the facilities ( private showers, AC, etc…) and a super welcoming environment - it also provides a very private felling as the majority of them people actually don’t live there but just host you! We extremely recommend!

May 30,2023Als doorgewinterde reizigster wilde ik Cuba toch graag laten regelen door Micuba en ik heb daar geen moment spijt van gehad! Alles tot in de puntjes geregeld, zelfs de taxi's waren op tijd en hadden voldoende benzine. Het land is in crisis maar de mensen zijn en blijven aardig en blij en vriendelijk. De casa's waren óf mooi en koloniaal óf kleiner en persoonlijker. Allebei erg leuk ! Het contact met Micuba is persoonlijk en fijn, ook op Cuba hebben ze een professioneel team paraat staan dat alle tijd voor je neemt !

Apr 16,2023The communication when preparing our trip was very smooth. We were informed well and correctly and were able to leave on our trip with peace of mind. Once on site, the guides were always punctual on appointments and gave us interesting explanations in reasonably fluent English. The taxi drivers for the private transfers were also very correct and on time. In the casas, we were warmly welcomed and the locals did their best to make us feel comfortable. We enjoyed a very nice, interesting and carefree holiday !

Feb 23,2023Onze reis is twee geannuleerd vanwege corona. Dit verliep allemaal heel probleemloos. Bij de uiteindelijke reis hebben wij nog een aantal aanpassingen gedaan ten opzichte van eerste. Ook de medewerking hierbij was uitstekend. De medewerkers zijn erg vriendelijk. Op Cuba was ook alles goed geregeld. Wij hebben meerdere plaatsen bezocht. De geboekte casas waren netjes en ruim, voorzien van airco en meestal ook een kluisje. Ook de taxi's die ons naar de volgende plaats brachten waren altijd op tijd. Bij een rit hadden wij vooraf besproken een omweg te maken (voor bezichtiging flamingo's en waterval) en ook dit ging vlekkeloos. De chauffeur ga ons alle tijd om het te bekijken en bleef wachten in de taxi. Kortom een zorgeloze vakantie gehad waarbij alles goed geregeld was. Een dikke 10!

Jan 06,2023Me and my husband had booked a vacation to Cuba but unfortunately there was not a transfer included. Through Travel MiCuba we’ve booked a transfer from and back to the airport. Both times the taxidriver was exactly on time. It’s a matter of fact they were earlier than the agreed time.
