Mimi and Bee Fabric is an online fabric shop. We are a family run business specialising in high quality quilting cottons, soft squishy brushed cottons, cotton lawns, rayons and other gorgeousness fabrics. I have a passion for fabric and am a total lost cause fabricaholic just like you! I only buy fabrics that I personally like so I guess my shop is a representation of me, that's why you will see excessive amounts of animal fabrics lol!! Visit our shop for great quality fabric for children's clothes, pet accessories and patchwork quilt supplies. We also stock haberdashery.
My sewing journey began when I was small and when I was in my 20s I made lots of clothes for my daughter. This led to a small sewing business, firstly making children's clothes I still love making these today and then later I made vintage styles skirts which you can still see on Instagram @mimandbeeboutique. I have always loved buying fabric, but often felt disappointed in the presentation when fabric arrived because I feel that buying fabric is like buying a present for yourself. We hope that you feel the same when you receive your order from us.

Sep 04,2022Due to postal strikes I received a message letting me know my fabric had been posted recorded delivery so that even though it was going to be a little later I would know where it was (still only took a day or two more than it would have). So thoughtful, and the fabric is beautiful and packaged like a present which makes it a joy to receive! Wonderful service and product.

Pretty, pastel tissue paper bound with a hand tied ribbon and personal greeting from the owner, Dawn. You get what you pay for and it has truly made the difference. I've often bought craft supplies from Amazon, eBay and other online shops and it feels as robotically vacuous as the state of hyper-capitalism today. Dawn, went the extra mile and added first post to my order (at no extra cost to me) because of the national postal strikes, just to make sure that I got my order when she expected it to arrive. How genuinely thoughtful. Women like Dawn make the world a better place to live and she has my utmost respect. Her beautiful shop will be receiving my custom in the future. Happy shopping everyone.
