More than two years ago, I bought an "Ergo Mesh 24 Hour Office Chair". At first it was comfortable and well-adjustable, but after a few years of use it had completely loosened up and was no longer suitable for use. When I contacted the company for a replacement, I was informed that the warranty was not valid, even though the company's website states: "To give you confidence in this product, it is guaranteed for 3 years. This excludes fair wear and tear". A cheap, low-quality product, not suitable for long-term use. Not recommended.
Ordered a chair which was too low. Asked what the procedure was to return and order another. Charged £25 to return!!!! Did not re order through them. Would not use or recommend!!
We have recently had a new reception desk supplied and installed by Office Boffins and have been impressed with the quality of the furniture and customer service displayed by Hannah in the office and Kenny and Duncan who installed the furniture. I would recommend paying extra to have the furniture built and installed on site - Kenny and Duncan arrived promptly and worked hard to complete the installation with minimum disruption to our working day.
Stay away from this Company, Cheaply made Products Ordered Expert 24/7 Posture Mesh Office Chair 1 month later the Seat has gone hard and now have Lower Back pain and Numness after only sitting on it for 1-2hrs a day. Brill! I was sick to death of buying cheaper equivalents off ebay (and Amazon) As soon as I unpacked it I knew the extra investment would be worth it Nicely engineered - substantial metals parts and bolts VERY easy to assemble (though less able bodied folk may need a hand). Took me 10minutes (Top Tip use the box it came in to assit - its just right height to do the underneath assembly) and then....the first test....plonk my fat harris on it...wow wow wow...it was so comfy and immediately felt right I'm really really pleased with it £300 isnt a fortune (but its a lot to me) but this Bariatric chair is in another league to the crap Ive been buying off ebay I'm 18stone - so I'm fairly overweight- but decided to go for the 35stone one (instead of the 24stone one) because of the way I treat my chairs - and wanted overkill. Delivered as stated next business day - no fuss. Bravo OfficeBoffins!!! I'm really pleased.

Initially, I was optimistic about the quality of the products, given officeb offins' reputation for providing reliable office materials. However, upon receiving and unpackaging the product a week later due to refurbishment, I discovered that the Atom Probe Janitor Commercial Cupboard was significantly damaged. Understandably concerned about the situation, I promptly reached out to officeboffins.co.uk to report the issue and request a rectification. However, to my dismay, I was informed that they could not accommodate my request for a replacement or refund due to a few days' delay in reporting the damage. What frustrates me the most about this experience is that I was not aware of any specific timeframe for reporting damaged goods. It is unreasonable to expect customers to adhere to strict reporting deadlines, especially when they may not immediately notice the damage or be able to address it promptly due to other obligations. This lack of empathy and willingness to accommodate reasonable requests reflects poorly on their commitment to customer satisfaction. As a result of this experience, I am deeply disappointed with office boffins handling of the situation and their failure to stand behind the quality of their products. I expected better from a company with their reputation, and I will be reconsidering my future business with them. Bought 2 chairs from here now and both have not been anything like their public reviews so I would question if these reviews have actually been written by customers. Both chairs have been designed for big people but there is no way these chairs are suitable for the body weights they are claimed to be. Wasted £400 now and would not recommend this company
We purchased two Bariatric office chairs 13 months ago. These have been working just fine but the castors failed a few months ago. Office Boffins replaced these promptly 5*. However, the chair base has now cracked and the company is refusing to replace the broken part even though the chair is not fit for purpose. We were offered a new base for £50. However, looking on Amazon, it is clear that this base is a standard base, as fitted to normal office chairs. As such the chair was not properly designed for up to 35 stone. I would not expect a chair designed for heavy persons to fail 1 month after the warranty expires
Recently ordered a table and 20 stack-able chairs for the canteen. All arrived as per lead time advised on order and we even got a days notice for the table to arrive. On the table there was no instructions but it was simple to build (others may have been confused and one screw to fix the table top to the legs was badly made and couldn't get a screwdriver to tighten it.

The reception seating I purchased was for home use. Unfortunately the fabric showed wear after a few months but I spoke to Adam at Office Boffins and he was extremely helpful and understanding. He told me that I should not have been advised that it was suitable for home use and after a couple of phone calls and emails he arranged for the seating to be returned. Although I was initially disappointed about the quality of the seating, I cannot fault the Customer Service and Adam at Office Boffins for his customer courtesy. Thank you.
I had an issue with my office chair where one of the wheels broke off after just over a year of ownership. After e-mailing Office Boffins, they quickly e-mailed me back to get replacement parts ordered - they also helped me when I had issues dissasembling my chair by passing on easy to understand instructions. I would like to pass particular thanks on to Harri from the Office Boffins team, who always responded to my e-mails promptly and was friendly and professional throughout. I was made to feel cared about, and that we were tackling the problem together. Harri was also superb when some spare parts didn't turn up on time, and again responded quickly to get things sorted and keep me in the loop regarding why and also to confirm when the spares would arrive. My employer also ordered the same chair for me to use at my workplace, since my work is split between company offices and my home. The chair itself "Alpha XL Bariatric 35 Stone 24 Hour Leather Faced Manager Chair" is superb, very comfortable and supportive - it is also relatively easy to assemble, not something that can be said for all office chairs! Overall I am extremely impressed with Office Boffins and the level of aftersales care I was given - a lot of other businesses would do well to take note! I would happily buy from them again and would also recommend to any friends or colleagues looking for office furniture.
Have great products but customer service completely lacking. Hands up that I am to blame for not seeing that there was a no returns policy on a made to order Silverline Beam Mobile Metal Pedestal and I accidentally ordered the wrong colour. They will not accept a return, won't help with an exchange and will not help me to find someone who could take this. While I accept it is not straight forward, I am disappointed by their hard-line stance of 'no' and will not even explore any options to help me. Now stuck with a product I don't need. The suggestion by their representative to sell on 'facebook marketplace' highlights their lack of support to their customers.

I bought a small desk and office pedestal from Office Boffins recently. I received the delivery really quickly and was kept up to date on the status of the delivery at all stages. The desk and pedestal required minimal self assembly and for the cost is very good quality. There was a slight imperfection in the desktop, which I would not have normally bothered about but it was in my eyeline, so I complained to Office Boffins. After a couple of emails they sent out a new desk top without any argument and didn't want the return of the original one. I would definately recommend them. Quick and efficient service.
I was looking for a good sturdy office desk for my PC and found my way to these guys. Having relatively few reviews to go on I took a punt on a rectangular cantilever desk from them on Thursday and it came as expected Monday via FedEx. Took about 20 minutes to put together and all feels very solid with my tower and monitor on it. Will soon be needing a chair so I'll likely be back soon. Thanks for a positive experience.
ordered a chair paid through paypal but wasnt processed for some reason. after a couple of days i reordered when through ok and was due to be delivered next day so was fine at this point! dpd was the delivery company so fault is totally with them really but after an aborted delivery for some reason it was ment to be delivered 3 days later (weekend in middle dont know why saturday isn't a delivery day) to find out on monday it is being sent back to office boffins prehaps this was a knee jurk reaction to my complaint to dpd how knows currently awaiting a refund for office boffin i hope it doesnt take long as review may go up or down depending on time taken for the money to come back to me. Update added 1 extra star to 4 star as received money back within a couple of days. cant give 5 stars as there was a problem with this order but company sorted it out well so 4 stars it is
I was struggling to find a comfortable chair for my home office, everywhere I looked. My online purchasing history has 4 different office chairs over the past 3 years. Each one weak and uncomfortable. Every time I was talked into buying a dud, so I braced myself for the hard sell rubbish. I was PROVEN WRONG. (What a delight, I said what I wanted, was pointed to the products which met my requirements and then I was allowed to make a decision, no pressure.) I didn't find the screws in the box, so automatically thought I had been sent a return. I was PROVEN WRONG, (They have been pre-fitted so they don't get lost in transit.) I thought it would be a nightmare to put the chair together. I was PROVEN WRONG (The wheels snap in and there are just three screws to put in. I chose not to use the arms which would have added another 8) My advice, be sceptical, expect poor service, poor product, difficult assembly. If you plan for that, like me YOU WILL BE PROVEN WRONG. Jul 02,2024After thinking the chairs were a good price, badly let down by performance and comfort. When asking to return for an alternative chair, which was willing to pay for, I was told a £30 restocking charge plus VAT for each chair! Working for a freight company, I know that cost is super inflated and unrealistic. I could send them back from my company but I can't be bothered. I have used Office Boffins in the past but I certainly won't from now on and definitely wouldn't recommend their product or service.
