Phillipa is a passionate photographer capturing lasting memories, with a hint of fun and love. Pears Photography was established in 2012, since then the purpose built studio was opened, providing a relaxed and comfortable space for portrait sessions or a more formal session for commercial headshots. Other areas covered are: Weddings, Portraits, Newborn and Toddlers, Cake Smashes, Commercial, Nurseries and Groups.

Feb 14,2025I can’t even tell you how many photoshoots I’ve had with Phillipa now. She’s fast become our ‘family photographer’ and has captured all sorts ranging from my boys 1st birthdays, my bump, Mother’s Day photos, and our annual Christmas photos. Phillipa is fab - so down to earth, makes you feel really comfortable, and knows what it takes to the ‘the shot’. So grateful she’s captured so many memories for me… and can’t wait to see what else she captures for us over the coming years!

Feb 11,2025Pears is a gorgeous little studio and Phillipa was so friendly, welcoming and made us feel at ease, as having photos taken can be quite awkward at times but we had none of this. She was amazing with our 2 week old baby and had the perfect set up for the newborn shoot. We weren’t rushed at all and made ourselves at home with space to change, feed and relax. I’m over the moon with our photos of both our little girl and us as a family and am so happy we chose Pears to capture these special early moments. Thank you Phillipa x

On the day, she was more than happy to help fasten shoes, fix my veil, pin on buttonholes and did everything she could to help make our day run smoothly. The gallery she produced was absolutely beautiful. She also provided some photographs on the same day which we could share with friends and family straight away. Jun 12,2024We chose Phillipa as our Wedding Photographer because the sensitivity of a woman appealed to us both, given that we were having a young and very shy bridesmaid and a number of elderly guests. We were not disappointed From our first meeting to our big day she was just so easy to get along with and very flexible and professional in her approach Her knowledge of using natural surroundings and light was exceptional, exactly what we had anticipated, and with a no fuss, nothing too much trouble attitude she made it look so easy Already in receipt of some precious memories in digital format we eagerly await the album on our return home - Honeymoon beckons !!

She was an absolute saint that day, working tirelessly to get the best pictures to remember our wedding day. Her keen eye for perfect backdrops has captured some of the most beautiful photos of ourselves and our family and friends. Silently working in the background and capturing candid photos of our guests as well was also a beautiful touch. We didn’t wait long for a few photos from the day, and the full album was followed not long after. Easy to talk to and organise, and when we met to plan the day and talk through what would happen she was very accommodating. Very flexible to fit us in during our wedding prep she made it work for us. Oct 01,2023We left it very late before deciding to book a newborn shoot when our little boy was already a week old. Phillipa was very quick to respond to messages and so accommodating of our need for an early morning slot due to work commitments. As you can imagine, our 2 week old was not always fully cooperative at the shoot but Phillipa was so patient and lovely with him, he eventually relaxed. We recieved the photos last night and couldn't be happier, they are stunning. Thankyou Phillipa, we will be back xx

We couldn’t recommend her enough, from taking any ideas I had to making them become reality. Phillipa has taken the most amazing photos they will be for us to treasure forever. Apr 24,2022We met Philippa at a wedding showcase back in 2019, at the time we hadn’t booked our venue yet so didn’t book straight away. However as soon as we had our date secured we were in touch with her first as she was so welcoming and bubbly we clicked from day one! Phillipa continued to be helpful and kept in touch through the entire pandemic, she helped with other supplier recommendations and we feel like we built a relationship beyond supplier and client. When the time came to book our pre wedding shoot she made us both feel so comfortable and had us laughing the entire way through definitely breaking the ice for two people who are extremely awkward in front of a camera. Nothing was too much while planning our wedding and she always at the end of the phone for any advise we needed or even just for a rant <3 On the day she was incredible, she helped calm manic situations and make sure our day ran smoothly, going the extra mile to calm me down when I needed it. The bridal prep was a full on girl boss team and I loved it! Bella Philippa’s new apprentice was the perfect addition to our day. We would recommend pears Photography to anyone planning a wedding, celebration and family portraits. I am sad that we can’t do our day again but we will certainly be booking Phillipa first for any occasions in the future.

Oct 23,2021If I could give more than 5* I totally would! From the moment Phillipa arrived at our wedding venue we knew we’d chosen the right person to capture our day. She is so kind, friendly and made myself and my bridesmaid feel at ease. Phillipa really captured all parts of our day, from getting ready, to the romantic moments to our guests having a good time. We requested our photos to be more natural and unposed and Phillipa captured just that. Phillipa blended in and our guests didn’t even know she was there so she managed to capture the most perfect photos. It was like having a friend take our photos, we had a giggle and she made us all feel relaxed and not awkward, she helped with tieing the bridesmaids bows on their dresses amongst other things which was amazing! I will be recommending pears photography to anyone and everyone because Phillipa is truly amazing at what she does and the photos really show her talent ♥️ Xx
