Jan 15,2025I paid for vanilla essential oil. I received dollar store vanilla extract. This fake essential oil is brown, sticky, sweet and tastes like vanilla extract. I asked for a refund but they claimed this vanilla extract is essential oil. It's not. Never again. Going to USPS for a fraud claim.

Nov 28,2024I was searching for good shea butter at a reasonable price. I found this site. This were good for a few months until it stopped taking my credit card. It would always say declined. I contacted them and they said their website website wasn't always easy to use. Ok well maybe they need to fix their site. They suggested using easy or ebay as they sell their products there. I'm not a fan of easy or ebay so I will find another site that carries what I need. Won't be using them again.

Sep 05,2024The uploaded pictures do not identify the plants correctly. Doesn't give you what to do if your plant it not thriving. Plus, they charge $7.41 / week. Too expensive for what it does. Wouldn't advise to purchase this app.

Jun 22,2024I've been a customer of plant Guru for many years and there oils are powerful and Great. I've been using oils for 10 years and plant Guru are the best. There customer service is GREAT.

May 10,2024Their scents are garbage... Can barely smell them ( their Egyptian Musk doesn't even smell like it should ) and advertised for making soap incense ECT ! Yeah right you can't hardly smell straight from the bottle. So using it to make soap incense ECT is a waste of time ! I should have when to my usual vendor here at home ! Twice the money but at least his scents are right on the money and at least 10 times stronger !!!

Apr 26,2024i bought it…on the 5th plant it finally identified a plant correctly… it was a 7’ Crepe Myrtle immediately the app said my 20 year old CM was dead… not only was it not dead it’s probably prettier this spring then it’s ever been so I don’t think I want this app anymore… buy yourself a Rube Goldberg Plant Region Book… i think i’m in region #7 JLK…

Mar 15,2024Plant guru sold me what I thought was organic ivory Shea butte, only to find out that it was going to past the expiration date within 6 months, however the sales page said that the product was freshly made, which means it should have had a life shelf expectancy of two years, that did not happen

Feb 22,2024I purchased several fragrence oils from them. Great prices, fast and free shipping. I should have tested the oil first, but sadly I didn't. I lost a whole 10 lb batch of beeswax. The fragrence would not integrate, it was at a 6% fragrence load, should have had no issues. The candles looked odd, and some didn't cure properly. Lost $25 of wax not to mention the $70 in oil i no longer trust to use.

Feb 10,2024I purchased a 1 lb block of African Black Soap off of Etsy from Plant Guru. I have used quite a few different expensive brands of Black Soap and theirs is one of the best so far. I feel that it is natural and authentic. The packaging, quality of product and shipping were all with no complaints. It was my first purchase and I will continue to purchase my soap through them.

Jan 19,2024Their website is not secured! When I tried to make a purchase I put in my information and got a fraud alert from my bank and cancelled. Months later I received 4 separate uber eats purchases that amount to about $400 that I did not make. I had to block my card! I know it was compromised on this site. DO NOT BUY ON THEIR WEBSITE. YOUR CARD INFO WILL BE COMPROMISED.

I Just want to say THANK You For This magnificent product I've had trouble with my scalp for over 20 years and I use plant guru African black soap to shampoo my hair and oh my God the experience of my scalp being clear without a scab and dandruff collected on my scalp it's just amazing and I want to say that I used the Avocado Butter as well 👏👏👏

Mar 26,2023Serious questions on ethics of PlantGuru. Suspicious operations - they can't even be bothered to return questions about their products. I've bought many products from them it's the very least they could do to respond. I question where they source and I perceive greenwashing in their descriptions. Sustainability is pretty important to a lot of people that would purchase from them and ethical practices is hand in hand with sustainability. They've lost me as a customer and they've lost my trust. I'll be putting my money into and being very vocal in my respect for Canadian brand, New Directions that's extremely transparent about every facet of their company. Too bad an American company just can't get it right. I regret ever giving them my business and look forward to welcoming new products that I feel confident in. For shame.

Mar 01,2023I ordered from this company on Esty and for starters shipment was fast and easy. Everything else was terrible! The product was hard as rock and it appeared that the item shipped to me had been sitting on the shelf for a while as it was very dusty. I never used the product and ultimately threw it in the trash can where it belonged. Sadly, this is my first and last time ordering anything from this company! Definitely false advertising and a HUGE WASTE of MY TIME and MY MONEY which makes me 😡😡😡😡

May 24,2022The company offers great prices and a great range of products, however I know that they have way too few employees to handle customer service. Because of that the customer support agents are agitated and rude. Nonetheless I receive my products at a timely rate. Notably though, the tracking is problematic. Most of the time now I get no updates between 'waiting for package' and 'delivered'. It's a phenomena that started with Covid and has not gotten better. I try to be home to receive my packages and that is presently impossible. I have been a customer for years and intend to remain one.

Mar 23,2022I ordered almost $200 of essential oils and they were delivered broken. The box was not opened so that told me they ,mailed the items damaged. There were at least 3 or 4 broken bottles in the box. This company scammed me. They don't answer the phone and when I finally received a response email they said they were not going to do anything about my order. I through the items a way after a few days of not receiving a call back. I was not going to keep a box of broken glass and the awful smell of all those essentials oils. I would never an hurt another small business but after reading some of the other reviews this company should be shut down. I am going to try and file a complaint with the Chamber of Commerce .Every company can make a mistake but this company keep doing the same thing to other small businesses.
