Our on-site funeral director is open to anyone – you don’t have to use our woodland burial ground to use our funeral director.

Dec 07,2024I did not use the burial ground for our funeral service but just for the burial of ashes. The grounds are lovely and looked even more beautiful on the one day of snow that we had! It feels so peaceful and close to nature there, just what we wanted. I found the staff to be kind, friendly and helpful.

Jul 30,2024What an amazing service and support we were given from Marie at Poole & Wimborne Woodland Burial Ground. From our initial meeting to arrange the funeral she helped me and my son enormously in what was such a daunting task. Nothing was too much trouble. She was there for every small detail and all of our worries and concerns were dealt with immediately. All of the family were so pleased. The service on Friday went perfectly. It was a beautiful day in beautiful surroundings. We have pre purchased two ashes plots as we felt this is where we wanted to be in the future. Both me and my son are so grateful for the support and care you gave us Marie. All of the team were helpful and charming. Our very kind wishes to you.

They listened to what we wanted and made some suggestions which really helped us. They carried out all our requests, from arranging the music to preparing the room for the small service as we planned. It all helped to make the day a special occasion, in a beautiful setting, which we will always remember.

Jun 04,2024Poole and Wimborne Burial ground staff were fabulous. Both Natascha and Marie were so kind and very very professional and organised . They made the whole experience seamless and are a credit to the company. Other staff that I met were also absolutely lovely. The service was beautiful. My only comment to the management would be that the inside of the building, particularly the toilets could do with a refurb and the catering was very basic..would have preferred more home made food and much less quantity and would have been happy to pay more for this .

May 19,2024From the moment I arrived at the burial ground it was clear that this was where my wife would have wished to be laid to rest. After talking to Marie and Natascha I was certain that they would take all the organisation of the funeral off my hands and leave me to deal with the things which really mattered: music, readings etc. On the day everything ran very smoothly and my wife had a really beautiful send off.

May 17,2024Right from our first visit the staff were really caring and considerate, even asked if my father had a favourite colour and would we like the bearers to wear a neckerchief of that colour on the day, which they did, was a nice touch. Everything was exactly what we asked for and done with dignity and compassion. And absolutely beautiful surroundings.

Mar 06,2024Sadly I lost my Nan and my Grandad lost his beloved wife. Mrs June Bealing had booked plots at Poole and Wimborne Burial ground in 2001 as soon as she seen how beautiful it was via a brochure. When my Nan passed on 25th Jan 2024 Marie was fantastic and so very helpful. As a family we didn't have a clue what happened next but Marie kept in touch and made the process so easy. No pressure was applied to get anything done straight away or to purchase any extra knowing my Nan had already paid for the essentials. On the day of the funeral I saw my Nan look as beautiful as ever. It was a very small and low key service but the team did us so proud. A tad muddy due to all the rain but the grounds looked so pretty with all the daffodils at Bloom. I know my Nan will be very happy there in a place she can finally rest in peace. Such wonderful customer service we as the Bealing family can't thank you enough.
