Great Tool, great team, great support. I am a very satisfied user for 9 years. I have spent countless hours on it. Only concern: their are dependent on data providers policies. It may occasionally result in changing data or pricing. Backtest servers are much faster and more reliable than in 2 other similar platforms I have tried.

Love the screening with backtests. Forum members are very helpful. Would like access to more foreign markets, log charts, and ability to trade with entry and exits at the $100/mo level.

Number one priority for any serious investor is 'quality of data', as well as functionality and ease of use. P123 is easy to learn and get going with, and allows you to learn fundamental factors/codes at your own pace. I have been using the service for nearly 10 years now, and it is very much a part of my development (still ongoing) as a disciplined investor/analyst religiously focused on company fundamentals (and a sprinkle of technical timing). No screener, or backtesting software is worth it's salt without the highest quality and integrity of data. And P123 scores 5/5 on that highest priority. It's been good to me - hence this lengthy review as a small token of appreciation.

This is the best and most flexible platform for stock and ETF screening, ranking and backtesting I know. With main focus on fundamentals, you can test, combine and vary hundreds of parameters. No programming knowledge required. One restriction: Portfolio123 does not support intraday trading.

Portfolio123 is unique in that the tools are in front of you. Tools that are simple enough to manipulate to attain an outcome of performance. Yes I would recommend this software to anyone who is ambiguous and want results in the stock market.

screens work ..get back testing or you will not really know what is best. Probably need a month or two of back-testing to get things tested and tuned for your needs. that's the Basic Public Screen plus testing them with the different Setting/Ranking methods is a lot of combinations to start from. Then you can tweak for bad /good market situations.

Have used it for years and I appreciate having some mechanical non emotional and time proven trading strategies. The forums are super helpful for ideas and advice. A game changer for me...
