Jul 20,2024I live in Illinois and had never heard of this company before. However, I have some musk ox products from Alaska, which were made by Alaskan Natives. I love musk ox products and wanted more, so I researched and found Qiviut and Company. They had great communication from the start and were gracious answering all of my questions, which I had a few because I was nervous (not knowing if they were legitimate). However, I was patient and followed the tracking of the package, and when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The jacket was everything that I was hoping it would be and it’s definitely going to be my go to jacket. It has a nice weight to it and the quality is just as expected. In addition, I feel like this jacket will be enough on its own for most days, but on the super cold days I can wear an outer shell over it and be perfect. I would definitely recommend Qiviut and Company to others and I would purchase other products from them as well. Thanks Nigel MacArthur for your reassurance and Bob Gould for your personal touch!

Jun 04,2024The finish, weight and comfort of the coat when you wear it sets it apart from many of its 'competitors'. It being a milder climate here in Australia, a jacket that keeps you warm but not overheated is important, and the QIVIUT does exactly that.

Jan 21,2024This is the BEST jacket I have ever owned. I have many high end jackets but none compare to the fit, quality, design, detail and warmth of this jacket. Living in Michigan, USA, temps can be sub zero and a quality jacket is a necessity. If I could recommend this one jacket to everyone - I would and do. Hands down this company cares about quality and backs it up. My only regret - that they don’t make more products!!! I would buy everything they make if they had an expanded clothing line. Congrats on a wonderful product and phenomenal company. P.S. customer service is top rate!

I have a closet full of winter coats and jackets, and when this gorgeous Qiviut Coat was given to me as a gift, I couldn’t refuse, but inwardly I thought what am I going to do with another coat? Thing is, this it NOT just ‘another coat’. This coat is quite simply, magnificent. The musk ox lining is like nothing I have ever worn to keep out the wind and the cold. And I am one of these people who is always cold. I try to avoid winter as much as possible, and now I feel sorry for those around me who are shivering while I am cozy and warm. I get compliments on the coat every time I wear it. I don’t need any other coat, and this year, finally, I will donate my long collection to those who need them. But the Qiviut is mine until the end of time!

Jan 07,2023I purchased my cost in 2016 and was Number 19! It has all of the qualities I thought it would including weight, warmth, and appearance. I live in the Pacific Northwest and it is my main jacket from fall to winter. It’s styling is classic and I wear it to formal functions or with jeans to informal events. It’s quality is amazing and after 7 years it still looks new and the zippers and snaps are perfect. I really like the interior pockets which are so practical for my phone, ID and such. This is an amazing product and more than worth the price.

Dec 27,2022My family and I recently went to Lapland where the temperature was -20degrees. The coat performed exceptionally. So very warm without the bulkiness. I wore this coat instead of the ski jacket the tour company provided. The neck warmer is really great, really effective at keeping the wind of your face. I couldn’t recommend this coat enough. Great quality and appearance.

Dec 11,2024I subtract 1 star due to the lack of communication about shipping of my order and the lack of the option to add a tracking shipment (make it optional and we pay for it or not). According to website it takes 7 days, it took them 3.2 weeks to deliver (danish post is notorious, I know) so some kind of communication about when they processed the order and a tracking number would have helped us combat the anxiety of being scammed.
