Nov 29,2023Let down by cowboy couriers. They provide excellent products but let themselves down by using a cheap third rate cowboy courier like DX. Won't be ordering again thanks to DX.

Sep 27,2023Well,I contacted the company about ɓuying bird food from them to feed our birds.So I went through their catalogue and picked what I thought would be the best mix for the type of birds we have.The person agreed that the mix was really good.....so I ordered it. But 2 of the ingredients were not liked by the birds at all( they are hemp and oilseed rape) So I phoned the company and complained about those ingredients,and was was told that Oilseed rape has really nice yellow flowers and she refused any refund. So I insisted on returning the oilseed rape and hemp,but was told that I must pay for sending them back,I paid for them to go back ,but the DPD van never turned up So what do you think of that as in proper service NEVER AGAIN.......! Roger Thomas Update .. .. Since the delivery, no company has come to collect the return parcel, and no notification was left that a driver had called and no further date for collection,so what does that say..................I would not trust that company now I know how they work + no delivery refund I shall be getting bird food from FOOD FOR BIRDS in future full stop. Because they are really consistant and supply promptly as verbally stated. Roger Thomas.

May 20,2023I ordered some bird food and a new bird feeder from this company after being let down by my usual supplier. I was a bit concerned that the quality would not be very good as they were so much cheaper, but to my delight, the birds actually seem to prefer their food to the more expensive stuff I had been buying. I've never had so many birds in my garden as I have since I started feeding their seed mixes. I've now placed two orders with this company, both have been delivered promptly and are top quality. I plan on ordering all my bird food and feeders from this company in future.

Sep 04,2021Been very happy using this company so far and glad I came across it. Have made a couple of orders on bird feeders and have also had family members buy from them too for when it's my birthday etc. There one of the few companies out there that offer Droll Yankee bird feeders that are usually out of stock elsewhere and at a decent price as well. Website is laid out very well making it easy to find items. Items are always dispatched quickly and arrive within a day or two very well packaged. Never had to contact about any issues so can't comment on communication. Reason I have took 1 star off is due to delivery costs. One of the main reasons I buy a few items at a time when I buy from this company is to spread out the postage cost. Due to living in the highlands I am charged £16 delivery. I understand that these prices are set by the courier and not the company but there are other couriers (Royal Mail. Hermes etc) out there that offer the same cost to my address as any "Mainland UK" address. Looking to make more future orders once certain items are back in stock. - Thanks, Larah.

May 26,2021Having tried a huge number of seed suppliers in the past who promise a no-mess garden with their seed mix, and when notified that seeds are sprouting everywhere claim, 'it's the weather', and never offer a refund, I now use this company all the time. The 'tidy mix' from this company does what it promises, in all weathers. Not cheap, but certainly the best I've found. Hardly any sprouts to be found and the birds love it and leave no waste.

Dec 09,2020My first order was placed on Monday evening and arrived within the time slot advised early on Wednesday afternoon. Amazing service, and the feeder and food are already being enjoyed by my feathered visitors. Will certainly use again!

Dec 04,2020I have tried the rest,and now I am back with the best. Purchased niger seed from another supplier. I received a bag which contained very small dull seed full of debris. It looked like the sweepings off the floor of a dirty old warehouse.

Jun 14,2020have used this company for bird food quite often now. always excellent quality seeds and the birds love it. delivery bit slower due to covid compared to before covid but customer service is excellent.

May 28,2020I order a lot of bird related products food, feeders etc. Always open to finding new companies to use along the way. However having found this company, I won’t be using it again. The first order I placed took over a week to arrive. They state next day delivery but that won’t happen. The ordering system is useless and your left guessing by yourself pretty much as soon as you’ve paid. I then contacted them with regards to this order and it was clear from the response they had no idea. I was told that the 3 items I had ordered were not compatible with each other. That wasn’t my question or even remotely related to it. Also, yes they were compatible and already fitted together. I thought ok still, I’d give them a another chance and placed a second order. Two days later I was told they didn’t in fact have them in stock. Great service. They are currently using the pandemic situation as an excuse for this service. Consider ordering from many of the other bird related sites and you’ll find it’s just that, an excuse. They all offer a more efficient and quicker service, even the ones who don’t state “next day delivery” I won’t be using this company again.

May 28,2020Found this company while looking for range of bird feeders ,they have a wonderful range of feeders all sizes,for all types of feed and they have their own seed so they don't rely on other people really happy with all my purchases ,helpful staff owners now I've found them I won't use any one else ,also deliveries are good even in this current crisis and your kept informed !!😊

Jul 26,2019I am very pleased with this company. They spent a long time with me on the phone, at their expense, discussing the things that I required. They have an enormous range of equipment and things for feeding birds. If you order some bird food with your other requirements than the whole order is sent free of postage. I ordered quite a lot from them and it was delivered within 20 hours to myself in West Yorkshire, that's what I call good delivery! I will continue to use this company for all my my wild bird feeding needs.

Mar 13,2019Ordered what I thought would be a quality Droll Yankee. Received a Droll Yankee plastic version imported by another company into the UK, and resold by this company. Flimsy, basic and not what you might expect. Not a lot of help from the company, once bitten twice shy, will know better next time.
