Feb 08,2025The remote key fob arrived almost by return, which was brilliant! However, the car can only be opened by inserting the key, which is disappointing. It does lock by remote control. So I'm only giving three stars for that reaso. Of course, it might be that the actual key no longer wants to unlock the car, rather than the new remote fob. I have no idea!

Needn't have worried - instructions clear I sent my old key off and received a new fully functional key back the day after they would have received it - very efficient and exactly as stated on the website so very happy with experience

Replacement was fairly straightforward once I found a YouTube tutorial and now my key fob is good as new. Highly recommended as will save you hundreds of pounds replacing the entire fob.

Jan 24,2025I recently purchased a second hand Mini Cooper. The keys are sealed units with soldered in rechargeable batteries. Unfortunately the previous owner had used just one of the keys so other ceased to function. BMW charge Ā£465 to supply a new one. I sent key to Remotefob Centre midday Monday. It was returned fully repaired midday Wednesday. Great service at about 1/7th cost of using BMW.
