Abigail is passionate about children and dedicated to giving them the best start in life. She believes stability in their home life is the best way to achieve this. At Rosebud Nanny Agency, we strive to match each family with the nanny who best shares their ideas on bringing up their children. Nannies, like childminders and most nursery staff, hold childcare qualifications, paediatric first aid certificates and DBS (formally CRB) checks. They also often hold nanny insurance, although it’s not a requirement unless they are Ofsted registered (so you can use the tax free childcare scheme, or childcare vouchers towards the nannys cost) They are your employee, they come to your house for their working day, and solely care for your child/children. This means you would employ them through PAYE and have a contract of employment (both things I will guide you with!) Nannies look after all ages of children – it depends on your family! If you have a child at home and one at school, you have a complete childcare option rather than using nursery for one child, breakfast and after school club for the other, and muddling through school holidays in any fashion possible. Nannies working days and hours are set by you as the employer, so are often the most flexible form of childcare. You pay for the hours you need. As our childcare needs have evolved we’ve worked with a few nannies and every time Abi has been quick and efficient in finding suitable candidates. She has always taken the time to understand our family and current needs. In emergency circumstances she has been able to find temporary cover at very short notice. Her guidance on all things admin and payroll is also invaluable if it’s the first time you’re employing a nanny. I would definitely recommend Abi!

Both times we needed help at quite short notice, and Abi was so helpful at finding us such high quality help so quickly. Both the nannies we have had through Abi have been brilliant with the kids, kind, caring, great at cooking and other household jobs. And generally just really nice people to have around. And we always felt that Abi really did care about providing us and the nannies with a good experience. I would most definitely go back to Abi in the future for any further childcare needs.

May 24,2023Abi, I just wanted to leave you a quick review to say how absolutely brilliant all 3 nannies were on Saturday. They were punctual, smartly turned out and approached us with warm smiles. Not only did they get straight on with entertaining the children, they approached arriving guests and relieved them of their children! All of the children had a very enjoyable day and the level of interaction was fantastic- not only did they look after the children but got involved with games and entertained them. She is knowledgeable, prompt and with a great range of nannies to recommend for each family's specific needs. She does all the necessary background checks and initial interviews and then provides you with the CVs of a number of suitable candidates and it is then up to you to pick out the ones you would like to interview. She was also great at helping us with the contracts and the sourcing of a reliable payroll company. All the awards she has won in the time we have known her are very well deserved.

I recently found myself going back To early years nannying after doing a housekeeping/ nanny job for a year my boss and I amicably realised my calling was round younger children , and after frankly the worst few months in my life abi made my job hunting experience so much easier , she landed me a fabulous temp job with a fantastic family with a young baby just the perfect start to my life early years return .
