Apr 11,2019Top notch service during my move to Milan. Pricing was pretty reasonable. Cheaper options could be found but the customer feedback from those places was very up and down. Moving out of the country is a whole different thing than paying for a move to a new neighborhood. It's not something you want that you want to lowball and find a cheap price with. If you're stuff gets damaged or even worse disappears it's much harder fixing the problem. My cousin learned the hard way when he moved to Canada with some super cheap movers and his things got damaged. I took his negative experience and learned from it on my move. Schmidt was great to work with. They handled all the nitty gritty details so I didn't have to. Heavy lifting, paperwork for customs, and packing fragile things. If you have the extra money I highly recommend getting your fragile stuff packed. If anything shows up damaged then the moving company will by default have to refund you for damage if they did the packing. Didn't have to worry about any of that though because it all showed up in one piece. Pleasure doing business with you guys.

Mar 31,2019Finding a international moving company was a headache. It was hard to tell who was telling the truth, what reviews are real and which ones were fake. Moving out of the U.S. is a once in a lifetime thing. At least for me it was, so I wanted to find the possible option with the most experience. I weeks worth of research led me to use Schmidt. Rates were flexible, they weren't pushy over the phone and the also do vehicle shipping. Everything I needed done wrapped into one company. Using a shared carrier was the most affordable choice. Took 3 weeks to get from the west coast to Ottawa. Just in time to start my new job. The move in was very smooth. All items were accounted for in a list they created and I checked off on. Thanks for making this sooo much less stressful.

Mar 19,2019Great movers! They made the moving process overseas much easier to understand. They had no problems staying on the phone and answering all questions I had in detail. They emailed me info as well so I could refer back to it. I did my due diligence and got quotes from a few other places to compare. Most every place had a high price minimum. Schmidt was a bit more flexible with their terms so I chose them. Saved me a lot of money/hassle using their service. I highly recommend them.

It was my first experience ever moving overseas and it was a bit of a time crunch for me because I had accepted my promotion last minute. Having to move out on time and finding a moving company that I could trust was stressful, to say the least, but I'm glad I ran into Schmidt. The wonders of the internet I tell ya! From being at my condo on earlier than expected to packing almost EVERYTHING for me, it was smooth sailing and carefully packaged. They moved quick, but were organized the entire time. They worked as a team too, so as one would focus more on the bigger appliances and breaking them down, the other was able to pack my fragile items, for instance, all of my art, lamps, sculptures, vanity mirror, and a ton more. It was incredible service and a huge help to me. Well worth it!

Jan 19,2019Finding a good international moving company is a so much harder than finding a good local mover. Glad we finally I found Schmidt International after calling around and searching online. They got my families things shipped to Italy safely and carried out all details that were promised in the beginning. Paying upfront for a move was a new experience for us and a bit nerve wracking to be honest but I later realized that's the norm with shipping over seas. Schmidt helped with packing, customs forms, and all heavy lifting. Their moving affiliate team in Italy was just as good as the movers we used in the start.

Jan 09,2019It's very difficult finding a good International moving company to put your trust in. I got quotes from a bunch of different place all at different price points. My goal wasn't just trying to find the most affordable, but to find a place with a lot experience. That was the hardest part to figure out. It took research and some asking around but Schmidt ended up being the best option for me. They were easy to speak with over the phone and completely upfront with pricing. I needed everything to arrive in 3 weeks or less and they were able to meet my needs. The shipment arrived in great shape and the movers at the other end were very professional. No Complaints.

Dec 30,2018Couldn't of done it without Schmidt. I almost didn't even move my stuff. I thought selling it all and buying new stuff in Sydney was going to be a smarter idea. After contacting Schmidt and realizing that getting was more affordable than I thought I decided to move everything there. A life's worth of furniture and boxes were in their possession for a month. I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous during the move. I was but when everything arrived in perfect shape. I went from nervous to thrilled!! They connected me with some great movers that they're partnered with at the other end. Everything was unwrapped for me once inside my new place. All furniture was arranged until I was happy. Two moving teams, one great move.

The crew that they sent were very nice, efficient and prompt. They were able to execute this move without adding any stress or confusion to this situation. Once we began working with them it was a seamless. That's very hard to find with international movers.
