Jun 01,2017We had concerns about work carried out by a previous company so we contacted NICEIC about our worries and they appointed Select 1 Security and Electrical to visit our property and audit the work . Yesterday Darran arrived early and proceeded to undertake a very comprehensive check on all our lights , sockets , switches , joint boxes and fuse boards and make all necessary readings to allow him to report back to NICEIC. If remedial work is necessary we hope Select 1 are appointed and we have already asked Darran for a quotation for some additional work . Darran was in our opinion extremely competent and efficient .

Jul 13,2016When we bought our house Select1 squeezed our alarm service in on very short notice. There was no service history and there was a few things needed doing to get it up and running. Darran the engineer was effective, efficient and thoroughly professional. He clearly knew his stuff. They will be our first call when we look to upgrade the alarm in the future. Highly recommended.

Jun 09,2016The Gentlemen that measured up for our new alarm box & wiring was very professional and articulate and more so when the new equipment was fitted. A slight delay in payment was due to my not noticing the original invoice request on e.mail. cheers

Mar 01,2016Select1 have serviced our house alarm for some time and we have always been really happy with their service . We recently used them for electrical work too and were very impressed . They always return calls/ emails promptly , turn up on time , and are friendly and tidy when in the house . Graham appears very knowledgable and is keen to ensure that work is carried out to proper safety standards . Electrical certificates are issued promptly via email . I would highly recommend .

Jan 13,2016Very happy with the service, prompt response when needed as power tripping off in kitchen. (Week up to Christmas). Replaced offending light fitting and installed new outdoor sockets as well. Clean and tidy job. Will continue to contact Select 1 when need arises.

Sep 10,2015Select 1 Security remind me in ample time that my annual alarm system inspection is due, so that I can arrange a suitable date for this to happen. They turn up on time, and carry out the work effectively and efficiently. On the odd occasion my alarm needs attention between annual services, Select 1 always attend promptly and resolve the problem. I would have no hesitation in recommending Select 1 Security.

Jul 27,2015I recently engaged Select 1 to upgrade the electrical mains installation to my residential property and also to install some security/ornamental lighting outside and in the garden. Knowing nothing whatsoever about the technical aspects of electrics I found that I could have complete confidence in Select 1and their employees.From the highly efficient and personable Natalie in the office to the guys who do the work the emphasis is on standard of service to the customer. I received a comprehensive report detailing the condition of my installation together with a detailed and itemised list of all the work which required attention. I received a verbal report on site and this was backed up by a written report. The work itself was undertaken with minimal fuss and interruption by Graeme from Select 1 who was extremely thorough and conscientious in every single aspect of the work required. He was also very patient with any queries I put to him and he could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Graeme also put up the security and ornamental lighting and I am delighted with these also. So if you're looking for a contractor who knows their stuff, is trustworthy in all aspects of their work and delivers their work to the highest standards whilst genuinely caring about their customers, needs then I would highly recommend you engage Select 1.
