The worst decision I ever made. This course failed to deliver in so many ways. Over 7K invested upfront and not a penny recouped, despite following the course meticulously. I'm now still paying £100 interest on credit card repayments (incurred on my investment). Thanks for nothing - you bunch of scammers.

I signed up for this program because it promised clarity, strategy, and support to succeed. Ironically, the very things it promised to deliver were where it failed the most. One of the core principles we were taught was to define a clear and narrow niche. Yet the program itself was available to just about anyone wanting a business, with a “niche” so broad that it was nearly impossible to connect with others experiencing relatable challenges. It felt scattered—a definite case of “do as I say, not as I do.” Secondly, while we were encouraged to grow organically and invest strategically in ads, the program itself poured enormous amounts into aggressive advertising. This unsustainable approach eventually contributed to the business’s financial collapse. The irony was impossible to ignore: we were told to manage our ad budgets carefully, yet the program itself couldn’t follow its own advice. The coaching aspect was another disappointment. Although billed as a “coaching” experience, the owner’s approach was far from it. His style was more aloof and controlling than collaborative. Despite employing a few capable coaches, he himself demonstrated little to no real coaching skill. Anyone who challenged or disagreed was quickly shut down, giving the experience a cult-like, gaslighting feel. Instead of genuinely helping, he seemed more interested in telling his own success stories. The owner’s endless boasts about his wealth, with claims of nearly million-pound months, only added to the irony when the company collapsed. It was later sold off in a way that allowed him to sidestep responsibility for the mess he’d created. Projecting success is one thing, but the reality of the program’s collapse showed he wasn’t equipped to run a sustainable business—regardless of any impressive numbers he touted. Overall, this program taught me valuable lessons, though mostly in what not to do. It was a textbook case of over-promising and under-delivering, and I’d caution anyone considering any of his programs to look beyond the flashy claims.

I used to work for this company, Sell What You Know. I am leaving a 1 star to alert people who are thinking about doing business with the previous owner to reconsider and do your due diligence before hand. I have NOT been paid for my all the work that I completed for Sell What You Know.

The Sell What You Know program was one of the best investments I ever made in myself. It taught me how to put together a program based on my previous experience which I was then able to turn into a new business. Don't get me wrong, it took a lot of hard work. And I think a lot of people came into it thinking it would be easier than it was. But the coaches in the program were fantastic and were always there to help me and give me feedback along the way and when I got stuck. I always felt they really cared about me and what I was trying to do. I just had to get on and do it really. Alex and the team really changed my life for the better, and I'm forever grateful that I made the leap and got their help.

The training material that we were all told would remain available has disappeared. My messages are ignored. Was it a scam? Not as such. Was it what wsd offered? NO.

I am submitting this review for the third time. I will not be bullied or have my review removed .. this tactic is pure bullying behaviour (and ironically highlights the very real behaviour within this organisation) and also defies the objective of leaving honest reviews for which this community is for. I have been advised that i am not able to mention the former owner of this company by name. So I will replace with X. Please beware .. you have been warned I’ve thought long and hard about writing this review. I am now writing it because I don’t want other people to fall for X and his amazing (very convincing) sales techniques. Whilst I did get value from SWYK through the fantastic other coaches who had also invested over £10k in this program .. and I certainly I gained a great deal of help from the great team of coaches whom x employed.. I did not get a single client from snails promises. X has a way of making you feel like it is your fault. I felt very alone during the program, not because I was, (as there were literally hundreds of us) but because when my program didn’t sell (despite following x instructions word for word) I took it personally. I began to believe that the problem lay with me. X himself has an air on unapproachability about him and it makes you feel inadequate. I certainly felt this way, especially coming from a non coaching background with limited technical knowledge. Luckily, as I say his team made up for that, but x himself is a salesman not a coach. There was an odd culture and at the time I found it hard to put my finger on. Subsequently I have learnt that I wasn’t infact alone.. what I was experiencing was very much in the majority. X promised the world. His promises were too good to be true but there was a huge element of trust. I worked harder than I have ever done in my life, and I started to find that I was becoming increasingly more and more in debt .. shelling out money for funnel software, props and then of course the paid ads. The vetting process to enter this program was dire, because when I did come to launch what I found is that the nature of my course was not taken well with Google ads or similar, so it meant my campaigns were a flop before they got going. Something x will say was out of his control.. except had my offer been validated properly then I would have been advised of this at the very beginning before I took out a loan to do this program, which let’s be honest promised I could make my money back! no brainer?! This whole situation has been a huge learning curve for me, and whilst I have sinced moved on, found an amazing coach who promises what he delivers.. I am writing this because I am just so frustrated to hear that x has subsequently gone on to set up several other similar companies all promising huge success. I think the crux of the matter is that because I am now aware of all of these other businesses being set up, I am just so concerned that others will face the false promises that x gives. Please think twice before parting with your hard earned money. This experience has massively affected my family, has caused tension and upset in my married life and fundamentally caused me a great deal of stress. I would also like to add that had I not heard that x was ‘at it again’ I would have not spent the time writing this review.. (as I honestly did feel sympathy for x for some strange reason- as he had let so many people down, and a part of me wanted to believe that this wasn’t intentionally) but now I know about not only all the other hundreds of people (clients and staff) who remain out of pocket because of him .. I have have had no choice. Again, a shining example of how x makes you believe you are very much the problem! Please stay clear. Coaching is an amazing career and massively rewarding.. just don’t part any money to x.

Update: I want to confirm that since making this post Alex has reached out and is working with me to support me towards my goals. Our session has gone really well and I have a clear vision of how to move forward. I would make sure I take negative reviews with a grain of salt, and get to know Alex. As I review the course material from am more resourceful place I am extremely happy with the quality of the content and I see myself applying this knowledge to get clients. Building a business is hard work. Don't get in your own way when you have paid for a world class expert to help you. Take his help if you are serious about his goals. I am slowly coming around. My last few reviews which I chose to remove after contemplation attempting to see what was really true... They were out of line. I really do think SWYK was/ is a good program run by people with good intentions. Expensive? Yes. Was MY choice and MY timing correct for MY needs? No. I was immature in my choice to join when I did. I should have better been able to assess my ability, my finances, my knowledge, and taken a more mature approach to seeing if this was right for me before I decided to take out a large loan for this (which I am still paying off). I want to apologize to Alex and the team for previous reviews. I am reviewing the course material and actually feeling very grateful I made the purchase when I did. I know that SWYK and my experience with it has been foundational in my personal, professional and spiritual growth. I said some nasty things in previous reviews which I deleted because I knew deep down I was acting out of fear, and not love. I was playing victim, lying to myself, blaming and not taking 100% responibility. I tended to wobble back and forth. I knew deep down I was out of line but the pain was very deep. Fear of the loan, of debt and my financial struggle. It's a painful process to see yourself truthfully. I believe in my ability to mature and grow through self reflection even if it means seeing where I was wrong in the past and the discomfort associated with it. Alex and the team provided a lot of value. They genuinely care about their clients. The reality of investments, business, coaching, and making big changes in life is that it's very challenging, often scary, uncomfortable and there is risk of failure. I knew these things when I applied. I couldn't have foreseen how I would react to knowing I had a loan, and realizing I would likely take longer than expected to be in a place where I could fully launch my program. I will be launching a coaching program in the future, I am building my financial foundation and my knowledge around my offer so I can help my clients. Looking back I realize I was simply overwhelmed due to work stress, and financial stress (my own choices and shortcomings), and the stress of taking responsibility to learn new skills like sales, marketing, and my fulfilling my offer. It was overwhelming for me and unfortunately I crumbled. Please take many of these negative reviews with a grain of salt. These people probably feel like they lost a lot of money, and yes... SWYK did encourage people to take out loans, which is something I personally disagree with... But, That was their choice. SWYK went out of business, and I don't know what to say with regards to how that was handled but... It's never an easy thing to go through. Alex is a hardworking person who just like anyone has to live in the real world. Business is brutal. I am grateful to have access to the modules, and even to have struggled with the over debt over the past few years. By struggling with the debt I have been encouraged to take more responsibility, study personal finance, budgeting, planning and to be able to live with greater understanding of the risks associated with programs like this one. I am grateful for this experience and all the lessons I have learned. I apologize for my past reviews. I will continue to work on my character, and my life in a holistic way. I suspect that over the long haul, the price I have paid financially and emotionally for SWYK will be worth it. Jared

Sadly I had a horrible experience after joining SWYK's full mentorship program. I have been part of the SWYK program for over a year with zero results, I have so many more things to say about this company but will do so on a dedicated website after I complete my legal action against them in small courts. Note that unlike most reviews here, my review is marked as VERIFIED which means I proved to TrustPilot that I am actually a genuine client of this program. You will also notice most reviews here only have 1-2 reviews on Trust Pilot and that many of the reviews are about the SWYK 3-days program (intended to sell you their full £10,000 mentorship program) or are by people who have only been on the full program for a very short while. But please do read all the reviews when doing your research so you can make your own informed choices while SWYK work hard to sell you their program. Please be aware before you jump into it! I lost a lot of money to them which they refuse to refund despite me following their Full-Money-Back-Guarantee instructions fully. I have proof that I am a genuine client and paid them for their course though they told TrustPilot I am not a genuine client to try and have this review removed. I don't wish on anyone to experience what I have with him. I must say the program does have a large team of coaches, most of which are friendly, but there are many many issues with the program, and in my opinion it's not one size fit all which is a very important thing to consider. Unlike their response here saying 'I did not follow the program'. I have tons of evidence to show that I did: worksheets, webinars, email campaigns, adverts, videos, organic marketing, sales calls.... I spent hundreds of hours and thousands of pounds following their advice and taking action, and SWYK failed me in so many ways, and are not caring at all. I also witnessed others who share my experience so beware of the very well curated promotional material. Sure it worked for some people, but not worked for many! you've been warned! (The 'F' in 'THE GTFOWI Show' by SWYK, which he mentions in his response below, by the way, does in fact represent the F swear word, just to give you a notion of what you are dealing with). I have submitted full evidence of all the work I have done for SELL WHAT YOU KNOW, back in January 2023, and this was acknowledged by SWYK Original owner/director via email. I then submitted a further video in May 2023 showing further Organic marketing work I did following his training as per his request and then in June 2023 I sent even more evidence of Facebook comments in groups and mission posts - but they now ignore my emails. In addition I also have screen recorded my last zoom meeting with the guy where he acknowledged I am doing great work following his instructions. I never said the sentence 'I DID NOT FOLLOW THE PROGRAM', as claimed in his response below. Doing their 90-day challenge I made 90 videos showing what I did daily to follow the program; Being part of an accountability team of peer students, means I now have witness statements from fellow students who monitored my progress weekly over the past year. I also have dozens of videos with SWYK coaches to show the work I have done. All submitted already to Sell What you Know. AND other people who were failed by SWYK now contact me with their stories. Sell What You Know informed me they use CEDR (Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution) as they are members of that scheme, and to resolve my claim I must use CEDR. After reading on Trust Pilot the reviews about CEDR, you will understand why Sell What You Know use them to resolve issues. He now removed any mention of CEDR from his response below realizing how it reflects on him. Conclusion: I believed everything he said, when selling the course to me, including his claim for a money-back-guarantee, just to face the last 6 months of me sending more and more evidence just to get generic non-specific statements from him such as 'you did not follow the program' then 'you did follow the program but you were inconsistent' or 'you didn't take action'. It makes me feel great sadness about ever coming across him on the internet, I would not wish anyone to go through what I am having to experience. Rather than continuing an open honest dialogue with me, they now blocked me and ignore me on the internet. Do read ALL of the other reviews, and make the decision that is right for you, I told the truth of my experience, and this will remain online for people to see. The original owner/director of SELL WHAT YOU KNOW is removing 1 star reviews who mention his name, as it's against Trustpilot guidelines, HOWEVER if you google SELL WHAT YOU KNOW you will find out who the guy is, so he cannot hide! Watch out for him! You have been Warned!

Was sold to a promise, followed the program to the 't' and was told to take our time when we had personal circumstance (depression and bereavement!). Standard email says we need to finish the course within 3 months upon enrollment and because of the personal circumstance, we were told not to worry, the 3 months was only a guide to students but not mandatory to finish it within the 3 months. However, when situation arises, AS sold the company and kicked us out from the FB the community page without prior announcement. There were times I could not even access my course. They keep adding new modules so if you thought you had finished the modules, you go back to revisit some topics and only to find that new modules have been added. AS made the announcement of sale after he kicked us out from the community page. There were no warning through emails and ambigous promise of support! When people asked for refund, he simply said there were no money left to refund! How AS handled the transition of his company and invoked the terms & conditions when it suits his interests was appalling to say the least! I am disgusted how he can sleep at night considering how he treated his customers who paid the sum of £9500 and made us believe he meant well. My experience with the coaches (staff AS hired) was not too bad. Although this maybe to teach you how to "Sell What You KNow", in layman's term - it is teaching you digital marketing! What AS failed to caveat throughout the course and during his video ad campaign was that it is very costly to advertise even if you follow the coaches and the modules to the "t". A company who only accepted positive feedback and kicked out his customers from the FB group when the feedback painted his company to a bad light speaks volume that he did not mean well. It is all about business and the bottom line. AS's business venture prior to SWYK lasted 2-3 years when he was selling digital photography course. SWYK is only 2 years old before it was being sold. There is a pattern there. Now he is happy to move on to the next venture. He obviously did not care of his reputational damage! Summary: - Poor company transition - Mediocre video tutorial - I only got value from the 1:1 feedback from Greg for the Marketing Ad review - Poor communication from AS

So many promises, hype and guidance to "the land of milk and honey". It's all BS! Hidden costs, impossible timescales, data breaches, withdrawn support and lots of hot air! Keep your money, watch a few YT videos and go on holiday. You'll feel better for it!

In my personal opinion you should Avoid Avoid Avoid! Please save your money and time claiming it back through the banks later down the line. The promise of a 'money back guarantee' is not honoured. He then shut the company down once he had my £9500, and then said "There was no money left". My only regret is not doing more due diligence. Do not invest in A£@x S!%@e (🙄)or any of his businesses at any cost. You will not get your money back or any of the promises….

I have taken this company to court to claim my money back. They have not responded. I have now requested a CCJ. This review has now been verified after Sell What You Know Ltd flagged it. Sell What You Know has a new director now. The old director has moved on to sell new dreams to unsuspecting public. Apparently I was suppose to make a program on how to dress up in the morning and sell it for thousands. During my verification process I researched the company and overlooked researching the director. Had I googled the name of the old director I would not have joined this program. Lucky for me I paid 6,000 for the dream. Others paid 9,500. The old director who is still replying email on behalf of the company and due to misrepresentation is responsible for the company's debt

With my hand on my heart, I can unequivocally say that SWYK has been the best investment I have ever made and has allowed me to realise my potential in way that nothing ever has before. It has had a deeply positive impact on who I am and how I feel about my future. I have already more than made back my initial investment and am on my way to having a business that will earn me more than I ever could have imagined possible. This feels incredible for me and my children. But what is amazing is that I am going to be able to enjoy this financial freedom through work that makes peoples’ lives better. I am a parenting coach, and I help mums get their kids’ screentime in balance, get their family back and feel great about being a mum. The training in SWYK is fantastic, and has covered everything from developing my initial idea, finding my ideal client, growing my organic marketing, learning digital marketing, managing leads and business processes, presenting on camera, video editing, script writing, email marketing, sales techniques…the list goes on. Literally the whole process is covered in depth, and the team takes great care to make sure that the training is updated to reflect changes in the industry. I have been able to apply loads of the skills to my day job, and have gained so much confidence in my ability to work in the digital space – I was a real luddite before, and now I feel like I’ve caught up! But the thing that is even more amazing than the training and the knowledge and the skills is the community and the friendships. I have made friends through SWYK who have come to stay at my house, and who I will know for many years to come. The spirit of the community is totally positive, and I have never been in a space where success and support are so wholeheartedly lived out – every person in the community wants everyone else to do well, and is always there to share their experience, offer encouragement or provide a sounding board. If you have knowledge and skills that solve a real problem out there in the world, and if you are willing to put in the work, then SWYK is most definitely for you.

I admit to being hugely skeptical and spent an age looking into Sell What You Know before joining the three day workshop to see if we were compatible. I knew I wanted to make the move into my own business but fear held me back. In the end I asked myself “if not now then when?”, that was the point I knew I had to join the mentorship programme and duly did. The next day I joined the 90 Day mentorship programme, and I’m so glad I did as the wealth of knowledge, help and support was (and remains) more than I ever hoped for. Then there’s the community, a whole community sharing and supporting each other. In the past four months I’ve met amazing people and friends who I know I can count on. 90 Days after starting the mentorship programme I signed my first clients, I couldn't believe it! But that's what happens when you follow the programme. So all I'll say is if you’re reading this then dive in now, you literally have nothing to lose and everything to gain!

I am so pleased that I happened upon Alex’s Ad. Well structured and well organised programme that is very comprehensive starting with the personal setbacks like limiting beliefs to the technical skills. This is a one stop shop with all you need to know. A great community and great coaches to help with every aspect of the journey. Alex is such a genuine guy and that is the same for all the coaches. Well worth the money as it’s the gift that keeps on giving. I have received more than I was promised and the support continues. I’ve launched my business and have a number of clients. Thanks Alex and the team. You have taken away the fear and the mystery. I couldn’t have done it without you.

SWYK is a huge force for good - the staff are wonderfully bright, friendly, affirming, and so helpfully knowledgeable; the community is friendly and interesting and collaborative; and the work everyone who is involved with SWYK is using SWYK to do out in the world is so positive and inspiring. Everyone is really supportive, and I've thoroughly enjoyed my journey with SWYK so far. For me - as well, I know, for many others - SWYK has given us the opportunity we longed for to change our lives, as well as change the lives of others that SWYK has helped us reach. For this I am really grateful, and I am excited to continue this work and keep on being involved with everyone at SWYK. Update about 6 weeks later: I'm delighted to have been getting my first clients through SWYK, and to be seeing progress towards my return on investment. My goals of prioritising my SWYK business as my main stream of income seem within reach, and that is truly exciting.

My dream was to make a living teaching "courses" about "stuff" I know I'm an expert at, so the SWYK programme seemed to be ticking my boxes. But.. the proof was in the pudding. It is everything it claims to be, and more. Excellent coaches, loads of informative but really practical content, and a really close-knit and passionate community. I've several clients under my belt now, several thousand pounds in the bank, and it's gathering momentum. The future really is bright, and it's getting brighter in this community with more content being added all the time, loads of engagement, and it's truly delivering on its promise.
