I have raised so many complaints about this company over the last 3 years. From not sending us invoices for 18 months (yet sending court letters) to overbilling, unable to link consolidated accounts and not believing that we were unable to view billing online, to not allocating payment to the right accounts. Calls from overseas debt collectors who called individually for each of our 13 accounts consolidated together amounting to harrasement. Currently, we have sold one property and they are incapable of removeing that account from our billing despite all the paperwork from us and the new owner being submitted 2 months ago. ARGHHHH. Their consolidated billing system does not work.

This company has owed me £787.03 since 3/10/22 A payment was accidentally paid to SES instead of WAVE water company. The bank details and sort code are exactly the same except one didget. I have sent numerous emails which not one has been responded to and telephoned 6 times over the last 5 months. Always told the team manager would call me back and never has. I have provided evidence of the payment, bank statements and now have to take this company to a small claims court. Absolutely disgraceful and how this company is still allowed to operate looking at all the bad reviews on Trustpilot Shame on you SES when people are struggling in this current economy, you are stealing their money and refusing to reply to their calls and pay them back.

this company come out of nowhere and wanted to charge my business with water bill, which I already paying to the shopping center for years, and they confirmed they are in charge of water bill. no clue who are they and where they come from. now they send debt collection company to me. ridiculous

I have dealt with this company for 2 years now, not by choice, as they have been extremely hard to deal with throughout our term with them, but it has taken them all this time to send me a correct bill. They have guessed at meter readings and I feel have pulled figures out of thin air for my bills. I am still very unhappy with them as they have just charged me £60.59 for the month of January and I haven't used even 1 unit of water. I would warn everyone to stay well away from this company.

Shocking, disgraceful, condescending; should'nt be allowed to treat with customers... 4 years and still no resolution. We are utterly at their mercy as not allowed to switch to another provider since there is an ongoing dispute. They dont seem to be doing anything about it. They have tried to send debt recovery agency against us and we countered with a lawyer; and now poof they have gone quiet again. This is so utterly depressing and disheartening that as a small business we are totally at the mercy of this giant firm who refuse to even tell us what our yearly charges are! We have 3 different invoices for the same period and they refuse to sort this. It is really telling that a company of this size also is not willing to claim ownership of this review site and proves that they are utterly not committed to treating their customers' concerns with any dignity or respect. Its no point either trying to complain to the ombudsman as they have such a huge backlog and in most instances usually side with the large companies....

couldn't be worse if they tried, they have a pay on demand account set up for me and regularly take £2-£3 out of my account on request, then are happy to send a demand for over £900??? oh and a 2nd demand for £30 something, 3 letters for each within a week, final reminder, urgent warning and legal action pending despite the amounts being paid in full as soon as the first letter/bill arrived! how companies like this exist is beyond me, off to change supplier as a matter of urgency. Don't even consider this company as your supplier!!!

They overcharged me over £1200 and would not give it back. Had to make a civil money claim against them in order to get the funds back.

Avoid this company at all costs, we have been charged incorrectly for the past 2 years, overcharged! Customer service is based on South Africa, so rude, unprofessional with no knowledge whatsoever of the account. This query has been ongoing since May last year and it is no where near getting resolved. The worst company I have EVER come across, DO NOT USE AVOID AT ALL COSTS i if could give zero rating i would!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Been trying to close an account for six months. Call centre in South Africa keeps telling me they have a backlog but its been six months since I gave my final meter reading! No reply to my complaint sent to the solvemyproblem address despite their website saying they respond within 48 hours. Frustrated beyond belief. I have emailed, phoned and complained and still no joy. This is causing me a lot of mental stress and frustration. Not sure what to do anymore!

Probably the worst experience I have ever had. Every time you speak to them the phone line flips in and out which is infuriating, the call centre is on another continent which is always disappointing and the whole company appears clueless. I have spent 6 months trying to ask them to bill my tenant and not me for his water, the concept appears beyond them.

Waiting for a refund of over £1000.00. Constantly palmed off by staff who say that the refund has been signed off and should be in our account by now... No sign of the refund, guess I will have to call again and again...

I would strongly advise not using the payment online option.....my payment has disappeared and no one can help and not interested in the fault on their payment page. I am lucky £18 only but that's not the point is it.

Hopeless keep sending bills to my wife's shop in the hundreds, emailed them twice rang and requested a call back, they don't reply, point is she is with water plus and never had anything to do with them incompetent.

One star is too many. Really need a minus category in here! A leak check engineer from this company has been due to attend our property for over a year now. I can understand the cancelling of appointments because of Covid. However, an engineer was due to attend on January 12th. Having made arrangements for this, a call was received from SES on January 11th to say that the appointment could not go ahead and had been rescheduled for January 27th. Upon calling the company I was told that the January 27th appointment would be between 11.00am and 1.00pm. At 12.10pm I received a text messsage to say that the engineer was on his way. He must have been walking, as at 1.25pm, 25 minutes past the latest time that he was scheduled to arrive, he still hadn't turned up. Being unable to wait an longer I rang the number which was on the text they sent to me at 12.10pm. The person answering the phone was unable to help me and I was transferred to Abi (who allegedly was the person who could sort the issue out). This was not to be the case though, as she said this type of work is carried out by a third party and she would have to transfer me to them. I was then transferred to John, this after a total of 16 minutes on the phone. The engineer still hadn't arrived during this time. John said that the engineers time was between 12.00pm and 2.00pm and that I should have been notified of this change. He is now to call me later this afternoon to rearrange the appointment. Let's see if this happens.

Bar far and away the worst utility provider i have ever had any dealings with. Incompetent, they don't listen, bills are always incorrect and over estimated, customer service is appalling, please avoid this company and switch provider as quickly as you can, I have only awarded 1 star as there wasn't a no star or minus option!

Was allocated SES with a new supply. First bill had a charge for wastewater which we don't have. Took them weeks to bill correctly. Fortunately, I avoided doing a direct debit. They now blame Covid for not doing meter readings but do not pay any attention when I have sent them my own readings (with photos). Constantly giving gross overestimates, and ignoring emails. If there is any sense at all in the idea of "competition" for utilities this company should swiftly be out of business.

Absolutely shambolic! As they seem to have no meter readers, they continually overestimate our bill by a factor of 5. I have provided correct and timely meter readings, which they ignore, and take their estimated amount by Direct Debit. They then ignore all requests to pay back the overpayment. I ended up having to cancel the Direct Debit, and have now received a final demand for payment which they are not owed. It seems the only way to prevent this daylight robbery is to switch supplier. I fail to understand why they remain in business.
