Mar 03,2023So impressed with the after purchase service, as well as the original purchase. I needed a replacement screw 18 months after the original purchase, which was sent out for free, & no cost for the postage! The staff were, on all occasions, very helpful and polite.

Mar 03,2023The buying "experience" was fine. Initial enquiry, detailed specs, payment and delivery were all handled promptly and efficiently. It's still early days on what we expect to be a long-lived (but standard gazebo) product, but so far it is well-made, seems stronger than its flood-damaged predecessor from another company, and does the job very well.

Mar 03,2023Quick delivery and Umbrella is great however I think they could recommend the type of base it needs as we had a base here and the umbrella was too big to fit in it and also I think they need to include a cover for it at that price.

Mar 03,2023As we couldn't find a rectangular table mount sun umbrella in NZ, we searched online and found Shade Australia had them. We obtained a quote, and a quote for freight to NZ. The freight was more than the umbrella but we went ahead as it appeared to suit our needs. Nikki and Laura and the team were very responsive to my enquiries by phone and email and the very heavy package duly appeared. By the time it arrived we had also paid customs duty and GST which brought it up to what we would have paid if we had bought a square one with an ugly solid base here in NZ. We put it up and found to our delight that I could raise it up and down with one hand which is necessary for me as I am a stroke survivor. Not only that but the cover bag that is on it when not in use has a stiff pole up one side and a lanyard that pulls the zip up so I can remove and install that with one hand also. The quality of the materials and construction matched the excellent design features also. All together a wonderful experience and choice. We have been loving using it when our crap weather this year has allowed.

Mar 02,2023The shade was installed in the backyard patio of our bed and breakfast located in the northern most island of the Philippines. The green colour of the shade enhances the cool fresh atmosphere provided by the assorted tropical plants around. It provide a lot of shade in the patio which our guests enjoy particularly on a sunny day. The only downside is that the shade cloth does not provide protection from rain.
