Dec 17,2024I am a retired precision engineer, but still put my skills to good use, a friend makes walking sticks, he makes the thumb rest from a contrasting wood, he wanted a different material to link the two pieces together, I suggested Acetal , a good engineering plastic, so I made some collars to fit between the two pieces of wood, he is really pleased with the results.
