I bought an expensive piece of catering equipment last year and was a little nervous handing over that much money after reading the bad reviews on here. I got in touch with Shop Equip to see if the product was in stock and they informed it was and would be dispatched within a couple of days. I made the purchase and the item was delivered in very good condition a few days later. My experience was good.
Rubbish stuff and bad service
Very poor customer service didn’t receive my item paid for next day delivery, staff keep making excuses curior van broken down, can’t find my address lol they are bunch of jokers, charged me for next day delivery after 3 days still didn’t receive the item. I wouldn’t reccomned this company at all.
Unfortunately like many of these other reviews, my personal experience has been a negative one. I signed for goods I received but did not open them as I was waiting for other products before I did. Upon opening I found that both of my products had been damaged. As soon as I realised this I sent an email enclosing pictures of the damaged products and asking for replacements or some money back. No response was received. I then sent another email to chase a response. They replied stating that I only had 24 hours from signing for the product to reporting any defects. They reiterated that they therefore did not have to do anything. Email response below: Good afternoon As I mentioned your goods were signed for on the 27th April 2018 and any damages or issues should have been raised with us within 24 hours of this date. Your first notification to Shop-Equip was on the 10th May 2018, which was way out of the 24hour period. So I am sorry but there in not anything I can do with this issue.
Good price. Customer service repeatadley rude and not helpful with a total lack of care from multiple employees when asking about getting a delivery time or tracking number. Generally not too pleasant to deal with
Delivered a brand new faulty fridge that can only be used as a slow cooker as its stuck to 27 degrees, customer service is shocking and they refuse to offer any fix for our issue - do not buy from them.
Bought a kitchenaid mixer. Well i had 3 as 1st one was paint chunks coming off and someone been messing with screws scrapes sent back 2nd one centre part metal all loose and really bad. 3rd one metal bits still loose but give up. Moral of this review yes your buying a mixer half the price but im 99% sure these appliances are seconds little bits wrong not good enough to go through as perfect. Works well. Beautiful machine. If it was sold as seconds slight imperfections i would understand. Rude customer services lady. Good services to change appliance. Fair company just be truthful in wat your selling. Easy
Used this company for the first time recently as my usual supplier didn't have the stock I required. Ordering was easy, pricing was very competitive, payment was simple and the product arrived when stated in perfect condition. Excellent service from start to finish and it looks like Shop-Equip has a new customer. Thanks to all concerned.
Avoid those unprofessional TERRIBLE guys!! Absolute joke First of all you need to know they stock nothing or own anything but simply they are few guys sitting on office and try to make commission out of you Then when problems happen (Which was my case when the coffee machine blow up after 2 months of using it which is under 12 months warrenty and was about to kill one of the employees, what I got from them is "Apologies but it has nothing to do with us!!!" I spoke to them many times BEGGING them to help me with just the parts and I will get an engineer, they simply said NO, it is expensive part for us to cover! I told them I will take it further, they simply replied "Do this if it will make you happy" I can leave you now imagine what kind of "Company" if you want to call it a "Company" which became very common these days that anyone go online and register a company for £5 and call themselves a "Company" Seriously avoid them, you will suffer like me!!
Our display cooler broke down in the middle of the summer holidays so we needed a replacement urgently. After searching the net and checking prices and delivery we found this company who said they could get one out to us within 3 days. We paid and waited. On day 2 I phoned to check when the delivery would be and was assured it would be that day or tomorrow at the latest. It didn't arrive. Over the course of the next 2 weeks we were constantly promised delivery dates and constantly let down. In the end it was suggested we purchase another model which would arrive quicker. We had to pay for this one whilst still not having received a refund for the first one. We were now chasing not only a delivery but a refund, both of which we were constantly lied to about. In the end after 2 1/2 weeks we eventually has a fridge and our refund but the trouble and stress involved in getting to this point were a joke. I would not touch this company with a barge pole. They don't hold any stock they simply put orders in with the manufacturers and hope for the best. They have zero control over the delivery of the items they are just a middleman.

Dec 12,2018I bought a PRODIS NT2BS in June 2017. Price and delivery were good. 18 months later the fridge no longer cools. PRODIS quote a call out fee of £80 ex VAT plus a half hourly rate of £30 ex VAT - minimum charge excluding any spares £132 to repair a fridge that is only 18 months old. Certainly the last PRODIS product that I will be buying.
