I placed an order with Debenhams online and unbeknown to me the order was contracted to a concession ‘Silver Street London’. On 31st March I received confirmation from Debenhams of order, including that I would receive the men’s loafer shoes in 2 working days ( I paid £4.49 for express delivery) However, by 5th April I contacted Debenhams to chase the order as needed for a wedding. Debenhams advised they could not do anything until 9th April as this was the 10 day period whereby they would look in to orders not received. 10 days after order, Item still not arrived and eventually Debenhams advised that they would contact Silver Street London (first time I was made aware that my order was not being fulfilled by Debenhams direct) Debenhams gave a further wait time for response being 15th April? I contacted Silver Street direct as found details on Trust Pilot after seeing other customers with similar experience. Silver Street london advised that my order was still in warehouse in ‘picking’ - 11 days after order placed with express delivery?! Silver Street London confirmed that they would authorise refund with Debenhams but that they will not get involved with refund of express delivery, Although confirming that nothing was despatched (no delivery cost incurred) they said they deliver for free, it is Debenhams that charge the delivery fee to customer. To date I have now received confirmation from Debenhams of refund being processed but this does not include delivery fee paid. Debenhams have not refunded the express delivery fee charged to me even with confirmation from Silver Street London that they had not despatched the shoes ordered and that the order on their system is still in ‘picking’. Shocking service from both Silver Street London & Debenhams why should the customer be out of pocket when the neither retailer has fulfilled their contract on order… Furthermore, Debenhams do not have a customer service number so you can speak with a member of the team to resolve in real time, instead you have to email and receive a reply at 04:49am which I presume is either AI or from a customer service centre somewhere outside of the UK which makes problem solving difficult due to time difference and delays the process. I wouldn’t shop with either of these retailers again, shocking service!

Was supposed to get my order yesterday. They sent me an email the day I orderd (25/1/24) saying they have sent it. However Royal mail tracking even today tells me they haven't got the parcel yet. Now im chasing a refund. This is my first time ordering with this Company. Never again! Edit: quick response by customer service and refund. Adding one star for that.

Boots were on sale so a great price. Lovely quality, arrived quickly.
Eventually arrived lovely boots but ordered on 10 January 24 received confirmation on 11 Jan received notice of despatch 3 to 5 days and tracking number kept checking tracker nothing moved. Emailed about heard nothing so telephoned on 18 Jan and finally and received on 20 Jan.
Still waiting for the boots to be delivered will be getting InTouch with PayPal for my money back they are a joke
I would give one star for delivery and five stars for customer service. I ordered 3 pairs from Debenhams on the 29th of December, but only two pairs arrived. I contacted Debenhams and Silver Street customer services. I received a prompt reply and a refund from Debenhams and Silver Street. In the meantime, I placed another order directly from Silver Street for the same three pairs of boots. One pair arrived only suede instead of navy leather. I emailed back to Customer Service and asked for a return label. They were prompt again. I placed a third order (for a higher price this time) for the pair they could not deliver right twice. It hasn't arrived yet but I am hopeful.
I've returned some boots, but you have not refunded me.. I've emailed you and tried to find other ways to contact you, to no avail. This Is very poor. Mr Christopher madell
Fast and efficient service, supplied a quality item as described. I ordered a pair of monk shoes and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and appearance of them. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I will consider this company again in the future when I need shoes again.
12 days since my order with Silver st LONDON. The 28th Dec was claimed that they sent these boots, however, no reply to my emails…Tracking number is not showing as working?. ROYAL MAIL states “they are expecting it”..probably wont even arrive? sent Royal Mail 24hrs 🙄 I have noticed the price of thes boots has gone up to £40.00 from the price, From when I first ordered 28th December. These Chelsea boots are being sold by Debenhams.. for £44.95..my order was £37.50 with Silver St LONDON. I will go to my Bank and dispute, and claim my money back, REFUND. What the hell is going on with these companies ?? 😳 Refunded..
My order was promised within a 2 day time scale and it has now been extended. I worry if it will actually turn up.

Ordered on the 19th December. Delivery was due between 21st-28th December. Still nothing arrived Emailed the company heard nothing back and also called number provided no answer. Please contact me ASAP
