Unlock Your Batting Potential and Score More Runs with 3 SIMPLE Steps
Clear concise trainable instructions
Excellent workshop for all serious batsmen out there looking for clarity in the process of seeing the ball and picking length.
Helped me gain a lot of clarity in my batting and also provide me with the process to remove negative thoughts
Gained some clarity on why I may not be performing to a good standard and figured out the process behind eradicating a negative mindset
Gio's process is refreshingly simple, and his support and positive mindset when things aren't going well are invaluable. Highly recommend.
I was initially doubtful about how online coaching would work but Gio has set up a good support system to facilitate this process. The guidance and support throughout the program was very good and the coaching was top. I am happy with the investment made on improving myself.
Really good training program
Good tips by them
I'm still going through the program. Will add more later.
Gio's batting lessons helped me a lot as they allowed me to enhance my ability to score runs and to eradicate my fear of failure.
Program can’t be faulted from start to finish. Gio, Matt and the team were fantastic in their support. For the number of people on the books at any one time, these guys are talking to you, not just a number. Every single call I felt I was listened to, and that the answers were specific to me - these guys genuinely care about what you get out of the program. Feedback through video analysis is superb. All facets of the program seem to “sneak” up on you, you absorb the lessons almost unconsciously and improvement is tangible (but definitely linked to your effort) almost immediately - not necessarily scoring hundreds right away, but when you review your own videos side-by-side (and this is a key takeaway - runs in a match situation are not controllable, and therefore a poor measure, you learn your own feedback loop, and can measure success against that). If I was made of money I’d do it again, but you are given the tools to self manage post program. If you’re procrastinating, don’t. Just do it.
Some new learnings. Definitely helpful. Would love to learn more.
It feels good to bat with my new grip. I'll come again to write as i complete this course
I took Gio's 'Fearless Mind' course in 2021 during Covid lockdown to prepare for a cricket season full of uncertainty. I had been putting in lots of skills and fitness training during the past decade, but the results were frustratingly inconsistent. One chart-topping league season would be followed by 2-3 really average or poor ones. The SIMPLE batting course gave me clarity and taught me to focus on the controllables and the measurable processes. Over the past 3 seasons I have been among the top 3 batters in my division and selected to play age-group county national championhips. I continue to work as hard as possible throughout the year, but now I know what to focus on and what to let go. It has made a massive, massive difference in my mindset on and off the park.
Breaks down batting in such a way that you understand the things that matter. Major improvements are possible if you personalise the process and make it your own.
Gained some clarity on why I may not be performing to a good standard and figured out the process behind eradicating a negative mindset
This training is stating the obvious in the first observation though despite knowing it we all miss out on recognizing that our playing capabilities are handicapped by the mindset we possess at that moment. Really straight forward and simple steps to follow. I am looking forward to implement it for my fielding sessions, specially while taking high catches. To be honest this principle can be applied to any aspect of our lives.
World class mindset coaching for batsmen. Simple to understand and more importantly, simple to implement in training and on match day
The winter chill had seeped into my cricket, like frost on a dropped catch. Years of mediocre scores and Saturday morning blues had me contemplating hanging up my whites for good. I was drowning in self-doubt, my average mirroring the murky depths. Then, fate, disguised as a phone call with Gio, intervened. At forty, with a track record of failure, I was hesitant. But something in Gio's voice, that quiet confidence, rekindled a spark. I signed up, a leap of faith in the face of skepticism, "does online batting coach work ? ", from even my closest mates. But Gio wasn't about fancy drills or exotic nets. He went straight for the root of the problem – my mind. Those mental modules were like a psychological spring cleaning, tossing out the negative thoughts that had cluttered my thinking. Week by week, my technique transformed, Gio's feedback was like sandpaper smoothing out the rough edges. Remember that 88*? The one that smashed my ten-season best to smithereens? It was just eight weeks in, a testament to the magic Gio was working. And the hunger grew, pushing me to train harder, sessions multiplying like rabbits after a rainy day. And then came the 29th of July. We were staring down a mountain of runs, 390 to be precise. But for the first time, doubt wasn't my teammate. Gio's voice echoed in my head, urging me to believe. The runs flowed, each one a brick laid in the foundation of my 134. We lost, but that innings? Pure magic, and it wouldn't have happened without Gio. But I wasn't satisfied. Scoring wasn't enough; I wanted to win. The next week, another century 118 not out, this time unbeaten, sealed the victory. The season ended with 600+ runs, the Club President's Bat a heavy but sweet reminder of my journey. This wasn't just about the runs, lads. It was about rediscovering the joy of the game, the thrill of defying limitations. Gio didn't just coach me; he rekindled the fire within. So, if you're feeling lost on the pitch, remember my story. Remember Gio. Remember, the phoenix within you is waiting to rise. And who knows, maybe you'll be writing your own success story next!

Feb 20,2025I took this course at the beginning of the 2023 season. I had a chat with Gio, and before that, I had seen a few videos on unweighting the bat, which made total sense. After talking to Gio, I was convinced that "The three-step simple batting process" was of great value and bought into the program the same day. Unfortunately, I injured my thumb and couldn't hold the bat the whole season. But I went through all the videos and practised playing fundamentals just by watching the videos after the season was over. My only regret is that I missed the direct feedback on my practice, some exercises, and some guidance due to my circumstances. Other than that, I wholly recommend this course to anyone looking to turn their batting fundamentals and make batting more enjoyable.
