Shaped Glass If your ceramic stove glass is shaped e.g. a corner is cut or it has an arch, it is recommended that you make a template of your stove glass. Email or post it to us and we will be able to cut your glass to the specific shape for your wood burning or multi fuel stove. Please ensure all dimensions are clearly displayed around the outer edge.
Fitting Replacement Stove Glass Remember when fitting the stove glass that you do not over tighten the screws. Do not use fire cement either, as this will cause the stove glass to crack.

Nov 27,2019Stupid me, my fault...! I was closing the wood burner door after putting a new log into the burner. A wooden spur on the log was sticking out beyond the door opening that I did't notice. When closing the door, the wooden spur hit the door glass and it broke into 2 pieces, I contacted Stoveglassdirect for a replacement glass and Shazam...! The new glass arrived the next day, carefully packed to prevent breakage in shipment. The new glass is being installed as I type this meaasage and we will again, have a pleasant evening in front of the wood burning fire.. Nov 23,2019My chimney sweep took away my cracked stove glass on 22nd October and promised to bring a replacement within a week. However, the stove retailer he used to order the new glass had two attempts at making a template for the glass and then had issues with delivery (my stove is an unusual make and model). Eventually, yesterday (NOVEMBER 22nd, a whole month later) I cancelled the order that the stove retailer hadn't managed to fill and I contacted StoveGlassDirect who put a replacement glass in the post on the same day. I received it this morning (Saturday) and it fits perfectly: I now have my stove back in action. Not only did StoveGlassDirect get my glass to me within 24 hours, but they were actually £15 cheaper than the stove retailer! Obviously, I have no hesitation in recommending StoveGlassDirect - the service is brilliant. Dena.
