Apr 03,2024The physics session leader was chosen last minute so wasn't prepared - which is what he explained so the session wasn't very interactive and he was trying to come up with the best way to teach us along the way as if he was experimenting. I am quite dissapointed especially because he said he didn't know what AS content is and he didn't do it himself so I was there learning things I didn't need to know. It is also not exam board specific so again, I was learning things I didn't need to know. He was more or less just reading from the notes of physics and maths tutor and not explaining it well and when we went through exam practise questions, he was getting it wrong himself and the students had to explain to him instead. Very dissapointed.

Mar 12,2024I would definitely recommend taking MedicMind’s Interview Mock MMI courses, the interviewer are extremely helpful and provide excellent feedback and help to prepare students to create the best interview answer to that question and to understand what to say in similar and other interview questions. I had completed 3 Mock MMI courses are very similar to the real interview and really helped me to gain an insight into what my interview would be like and really prepare myself to give a superb interview.

Feb 26,2024I really enjoyed the different talks on the medical application. They included many aspects such as interviews and UCAS. They made the presentations interactive and engaging. However, to improve they should have had a clear structure and itinerary that was mentioned at the beginning of the conference. Overall, very informative and insightful for example they mentioned the importance of reflecting on your work experience. After this conference, I understood the support and mentoring that Medic Mind give to aspiring medical students and I am much more interested in using their resources they have for offer.
