TDS Northern Ireland is the leading provider of tenancy deposit protection.
I was unable to access the details of a quite old account. I had also recently just been set up a new account, after a house move. Ashleen was very helpful and quickly identified and merged my accounts, so I could request a repayment.
Brilliant service from Ashleen who is always so helpful and really goes above and beyond to help us.
I cannot believe how amazingly perfect the assistance given to me was. If anyone is concerned about any queries they might have with TDS Northern Ireland...please contact them. It will be a pleasure and results to your query/queries will be satisfied.
Very helpful and efficient staff!
A very courteous and helpful team who explained the process and timescales and kept me informed of how my case was progressing with regular updates. Thank you.
My landline isn't working so I tried Face Book chat, yes that desperate I was :-], and my lost deposit was quickly found and returned thanks to invaluable help of Manager Eamonn Hunt and his team, thank you all. Peter Sumbera
had a bad experience with TDS, had rented a luxury apt to 2 overseas professionals. When leaving the flat was left in a dreadful state and despite evidence and receipts submitted to bring the flat up to a reasonable standard the adjudicators ruled in favour of the tenants. What a waste of money and time spent, would not recommend joining this scheme.
Reassuringly attentive and quick to an important query. Brilliantly helpful
We had a couple of awkward claims against deposits and Eamonn was incredibly helpful in talking us through the process. I couldn’t recommend him enough.
Can't recommened TDS NI enough. everytime I have an issue needing resolved, it is resolved within moments. These guys are always ont he ball! Thanks for all your help!
Having provided evidence of Damage, Missing furniture and rent arrears! TDS has found in favour of the tenant because my contract didn't specify using the deposit for rent arrears. On appeal I pointed out that the deposit wouldn't cover the Damage and missing furniture. Someone in TDS who signs themselves Yours sincerely Adjudication review Has decided to ignore this and stand by the decision.
I have to agree with the reviewer beneath this post, I have used them for 4 yrs but year after year they find in favour of the tenant. I have found their judgement on disputes biased on many occasions in favour of tenants. I no longer use their services and have gone to my deposits ni.
Always glad to help , could fault there service :)
Always found TDSNI most helpful and efficient and always willing to help with any of my queries.
TDS are fantastic always on hand to help anytime we have any probems, they are a delight to deal with especially Eamonnand Sean. Can't recommend them enough.
Eamonn and Sean provide an excellent service and are always willing to provide assistance. Highly recommended
Eamonn and Sean are excellent to deal with and have been extremely helpful. Any queries have been dealt with quickly and efficiently. Thank you
Excellent service from both Eamonn and Sean. Really helpful and make understanding the service easy to learn. No matter what or how silly a question i have for them, they always go out of the way to help.
We have used TDS to protect Deposits from the offset. In the height of summer unfortunately for Eamonn and Sean, I often need to call them with queries and issues and nothing is ever too much trouble. I find them very helpful, very reliable and we have a great working relationship with TDS and long may it continue.

Apr 07,2023Absolutely dreadful service. Took THREE MONTHS reviewing the decision, only to say that my contract - drawn up by a pro letting agent - did not specify the deposit could be used for damage, rent arrears, etc. Have the strong feeling they are understaffed and/or cld not be bothered reviewing properly. Strongly advise using any alternative to TDS, totally failed to protect me as landlord. Communications are from a generic email, cut-and-paste. Stated response times are not followed, virtually impossible to contact by phone. You cannot speak to the suspiciously anonymous "adjudicators". Total waste of time.
