The Curtain Store, formally known as the Curtain Superstore is a family run business in Blaydon, Newcastle and has been trading for over 30 years with 40+ years’ experience in the fabric and curtain making industry, so we know a thing or two about home furnishings.

Our rich experience, coupled with our passion and knowledge, has allowed us to provide an unrivalled bespoke curtain and blind service in the North East whilst having an extensive range of home furnishings at competitive prices, helping us win the soft furnishings supplier of the year in 2019.

We are super excited to now be offering our expertise and extensive product range online, helping everyone around the UK to turn their house into a home!

I moved into a new home last year. I needed both curtains and furniture, I was delighted to find both available at The Curtain Store at Home. The service from everyone was impeccable. From the lovely men who came to measure up my windows, to the lovely staff in store. I was impressed by the range available, in both textiles and furniture. I have used The Curtain Store at Home multiple times now, each time receiving the same great service. I will continue to use them in the future.

I was unsure as what to get for my new flat. The service and recommendations from the staff were wonderful. A great selection of fabrics and other materials. My made to measure curtains arrived and were fitted in no time at all. I will definitely return.

Called in for new curtains and poles. Fabulous range, got exactly what I wanted. Great range of bedding and cushions too. Staff extremely knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant!

Sylvia who is the buyer, took lots of time to show me the various curtain fabrics and styles as I was absolutely clueless about it all and that really made the difference to me. The two chaps who came to fit them did a great job so overall I am very happy with the product and service I received.

Appalling and dishonest. Was told my friends Italian sofa would be 8 weeks, checked and confirmed that was correct, maybe a day or too late tops. 11 weeks later we finally got it. In between the service and lies was a Joe. No calls back when chasing up. Lied about refund policy, lied about when it would be in, given 3 different dates, fobbed off with we are busy, short staffed, on deliveries... lied about a call from area manager, they don’t have one, manager can’t take feedback, she then refuses to speak with you when you explain about the lies, disrespect to customers and shoddy unacceptable service, incompetent of delivering on promises. Why not just tell your customer the delivery is 10-12 weeks instead of saying 8 weeks then when it’s delayed blaming it on coming from Italy,, disgusted in the service, seems the staff are scared of someone, why lie about timing and management structure.. deal with your mistakes. The one plus was the guys who delivered, extremely professional and very helpful, quick and tidy. Shame about store staff.

I have often visited this store and have always found the service was excellent. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. I am a home sewer and I always find their professional advice helpful. Always a warm welcome and I would highly recommend this store.

We received delivery of our new Suite of furniture this week from The Curtain Store At Home. The Product was of excellent quality. The sales staff, Ian and Steven were very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We found the delivery guys very friendly, prompt and efficient. We would highly recommend this store.

Love my curtains made to measure by The Curtain Store at Home. After having a few problems with ordering on their website Paul came to the rescue and took me through the process step by step. Once ordered communications kept me updated and the curtains arrived promptly. Will use this company again and will recommend to friends and family.

I ordered from the company but I received the wrong colour of curtains, I emailed about this and within 15 minutes had a reply with an apology, a returns label and the promise that the correct colour of curtains would be sent to me. Within days these arrived and I was very happy with them. I was keep informed at all times. The customer service from Paul was excellent. Would definitely buy from them again.

Customer service was great. I love the fact that you include the sample lining. I made the mistake of not checking the colour in electric light but one call cancelled the order and the refund was a well expedited process. I have looked at some more samples and am about to order having checked in every light possible!
