The Elocution Coach Ltd was established in 2020 by international elocution coach, James Percy-Smith. Based on James' years of experience coaching clients across the world, the company now offers both 1:1 and online programmes in public speaking, accent reduction and acting (including LAMDA and Trinity exams for children).

James is pure joy to work with! I absolutely loved learning from him. He is super nice and kind. He always went above and beyond helping me even around my busy schedule. I cannot thank him enough and certainly cannot recommend him enough as he is not the first elocution coach I worked with which was an utter waste of money! James is worth every penny and more! He makes it an enjoyable experience than hard work.

I was hesitant to try any elocution training even though I knew my articulation and public speaking skills were lacking. I am so glad though, that I decided to go ahead with the coaching. It is no exaggeration to say that my confidence and clarity in speaking has grown well beyond my most optimistic expectations. During the programme everyone that I dealt with was so knowledgeable, friendly, encouraging as well as patient and professional. I thoroughly recommend the course to anyone who wishes to become more articulate in their day to day conversation or to improve their public speaking proficiency.

James has been helping me with my public speaking for the last few months. I was so happy with James's training techniques this is not something I have really done before and I found myself buzzing and excited after every lesson! I have learnt so much in terms of building my self confidence and learning about my imperfections and correcting them! I feel so much happier with myself and I can finally say I did my first public speaking speech which I was so pleased with and really over come a huge fear of mine! I am looking forward to working more with James in the future and honestly if you are thinking of doing a course with him I highly recommend! Thank you so much for all your help James

James is an excellent elocution coach and takes a friendly approach to teaching. He explains clearly and concisely the techniques I needed to improve my speech and pronunciation. His lessons were tailored to my own needs and well structured so at the end of my course I was really confident in my progress. The exercises he gave me between lessons and for once the course were finished were effective but never felt monotonous. I'd highly reccomend using James for any areas of speech.
