May 19,2024Many thanks again to Jim for his helpful advice re running bamboo. Having already obtained a survey report from a local company re a large area of running bamboo at a property I’m considering purchasing, I reached out to Jim for a second opinion having come across his PCA webinars on the topic (which I would highly recommend watching if you’re a non-expert researching the subject like me). Jim responded really quickly and gave me such useful guidance re the bamboo in question, clearly explaining the risks and possible options. I would highly recommend Jim to anyone who has concerns re bamboo and is looking for clear and thorough advice on the topic.

Dec 12,2022Absolutely amazing company and fully supportive whilst we were selling our house. Our buyers and mortgage company were reassured fully, to not be afraid. We had a full programme in place for some knotweed to be treated. I cannot recommend more to give full support and reassurance They go above and beyond what is expected. Paul who visited every year was pleasure, Brian and Dawn in the office were off "the nothing is a problem" attitude which is so rare.

Mar 19,2022I rather stupidly had bamboo planted @ the front of my house over 10 years ago & found that it was growing apace, potentially getting @ the foundations. After some research, I decided to go with the Knotweed Company as they gave me a quote with various fairly priced options to resolve the problem. They carried out a successful initial spraying of the bamboo late last year & on Monday 2 of their operatives turned up to carry out the main work of cutting the bamboo down. I was so pleased with the way they carried out the work, that I wrote to the guy that I had been dealing with to let him know what a cracking job the 2 blokes had done of cutting the bamboo down in the front and back garden, removing everything including a builders bag that I'd filled with old cuttings, removing the membrane and putting back the shingle and completing another treatment of the bamboo. Everything has been reinstated far above what I'd expected, especially as I didn't think the front garden would have the shingle put back so that you wouldn't even know that they'd done so much work on it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who needs a fair priced, professional job carried out on sorting out a bamboo infestation.

Dec 18,2024I was concerned about a recent building survey identifying 'potential Japanese knotweed' and sought advice from the Knotweed Company. Brian replied very promptly and comprehensively after reviewing the images I had attached and even supplied a helpful knotweed identification chart for future reference. Thank you very much.
