He has since guided me towards building a Perlisten/Primare 2ch Audio/Home Cinema End Game system. Dec 19,2023My KEF LSX’s began malfunctioning this autumn. I bought them from David at thelittleaudiocompany in the Autumn of 2018. After a number of futile attempts to get them working I contacted David who then exhausted all alternatives before organising their return to Kef for investigation. I now have the speakers back and they are working superbly once again. David coordinated the process of shipping the speakers to Kef and back again. In addition he managed all the communication with the company. Throughout he was fastidious in ensuring that the process was under control. I am indebted to him. These speakers were bought over 5 years ago, yet David responded as if they had been purchased last week. Truly excellent customer service. Thank you David

But despite that, David has been so generous with his time and knowledge, even when my questions weren't necessarily about brands he stocks. Would highly recommend. I like his philosophy and he sells some interesting products.

Apr 14,2023I bought an LPSU for my Innuos Zen Mini3. David was helpful and patient giving extra advice on connectors and external hard drives for backup units for my music library. When the LPSU arrived from Portugal he sent it to me via ParcelForce at no extra cost. I would recommend him and his company to anyone!

Jun 05,2022My experience with the little audio company has been fantastic, I initially planned to buy a KEF KC62 subwoofer for a great price and all was going well and smoothly. Unfortunately I needed the money I sent for the sub for something else urgently so I requested a refund from David and he was nothing but cooperative throughout the process. I will definitely be coming back in the future as the customer service has been second to none.

Feb 08,2022So glad that I consulted with David Falkner of The Little Audio Company in helping me choose a suitable DAC for my system. In recent years, it seems that really great sounding DACs don't necessarily need to be in the multi-thousand price range. That said, numerous new and affordable DACs confusingly use the many of the same DAC chips and parts, and one might expect that they have similar sonics. David explained how DACs are 'voiced' differently, resulting in variations in soundstage width and front-to-back imaging. Also, how to audition DACs properly while avoiding quick A-B switching between audio products. Thanks, David!

David sent a detailed and very helpful reply, recommending two possible solutions, and explaining the pros and cons of each. They both involved hardware that he couldn’t supply himself. Sep 06,2021This happens to be my first official written review and it is all because of the fantastic work of the Gentleman behind the little audio company, David. It would be insufficient and unjust if I just say a line mentioning it was an excellent service, excellent product and wrap this up with some star rating. So, here is a totally honest elaboration of my experience with the little audio company. I was looking to build a stereo system and had certain products in my mind. Since it was during these Covid times; visiting a store, getting a demo, availability was quite a challenge and was nearly impossible. So, I was only left with one option which was to figure out things based on whatever online reviews, blogs, videos were available. My search started and I started reaching out to various shops, retailers for information and that is when I came across "the little audio company". In most of my experience while dealing with product purchases, the conversation is so limited and often the enquiries end within a few words or lines. However, one of my email was met with a very nice and unique response from David and from there on the conversation went on further and he helped me in getting the best system for my budget and needs. Before purchasing, I saw the previous reviews of this company and all of them were top class. I was really intrigued and surprised seeing that all of them were highly rated. What followed later made me believe why all of them were so good. The best part (surprisingly very good) was that while we were discussing options, David gave me most details about the system and what would be the right combination of Speakers and Amplifier instead of hard pushing a sale. He first asked few questions, understood my requirements and along with my choice of products also gave me a detailed overview of various options in that range. It helped me in understanding quite a few aspects to make a conscious well informed purchase. He is definitely just much more than a sales person. He knows the products in Hi-Fi and home theatre very well and more importantly the right combination that would suit and work in sync. I wonder why is he not a reviewer of audio products (but if we look closely on his website there are some articles) and he could be a fantastic one. Finally, after almost numerous email exchanges (a hundred may be), I found my system in Hegel amp and KEF speakers. It took me quite a few months to finally decide what I was buying and during that time, David was patient enough to answer all my questions. The best part is his responses to my emails were prompt and that continued even after sales when I had some questions and there was help from him. Also to note that I am posting this review months after the purchase sort of makes it more reliable of the wonderful after sales experience at the little audio company. This was probably the first time in my experience that even after sales the support was this great. I wrote this especially to appreciate the fantastic work by the little audio company and share my experience with public in general. The Hegel and KEF LS50 Meta combo sounds amazing. I absolutely enjoy it and is also loved by my friends who had a chance to listen. David, thank you so much for your insights, help and I wish all the best for the little audio company.

Aug 05,2021David is fantastic, he really knows his products and after carefully listening to your needs will make suggestions and then help you narrow your choice after you feedback your listening experience. More than just being generous with his time and experience he also let me have long term loans of five (yes five!) amplifiers at different times over 7 months and arranged couriers when we were in lockdown. This allowed me to make a well informed choice based on how my system sounds at home with the amp in place and choose the right one for me. Trustpilot only allows me 5 stars but based on my experience Little Audio Company deserves more!

He has a great range of lesser known products and is an excellent source of advice and ideas. I recently bought a pair of superb Amphion Argon 7ls speakers from him, and the whole transaction and communication with David was a refreshing change. Highly recommended.

Feb 09,2021I have gone against one of the cardinal sins of HiFi speaker purchase, and brought a pair of speakers blind (or should that be ‘deaf’) so to speak. I treated myself to a retirement present of a new pair of Ophidian P3 Evolution speakers. After a lot of reseacrh online/reviews/websites I sent out a few emails to retailers who stocked the different speakers I had an interest in. And it was David Falkner of The Little Audio Company of Birmingham who came back with the most helpful advice. After a few (a lot really) emails back and forth with David’s excellent product knowledge and patience, I settled on the P3s. Which are now connected to my Naim kit and singing well. Thank You David.
