Wow Our first trip to South Africa beautifully arranged and crafted by JD and Francois using their considerable experience and expertise. 6 stunning and unique destinations in 3 perfect weeks, travelling the garden route in all its glory. Travel cafe Cape town perfectly tailored all our likes into a trip of a lifetime, and many new experiences that we loved too. Their love of their home town shows in every single detail making us love it too. From exciting adrenaline rushes to peaceful sunsets and everywhere in between. We loved every minute. Their recommendations for restaurants, bars and shops were totally perfect for us. All tastes catered for in a new and exciting ways. Experiencing the history and culture first hand is a memory we will treasure always. Cape Town is an incredible place. JD and Francois have showed us just how incredible. Thank you so much. Mar 07,2019J'ai par habitude d'organiser seule mes voyages mais ne connaissant pas l'Afrique du Sud et ne parlant pas anglais j'ai décidé de faire appel à François et JD et je ne l'ai pas regretté ils m'ont préparé un super voyage sur mesure où tout été prévu dans le moindre détail. Je les remercie énormément pour leur compétence , leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité. Je les recomanderai sans hésiter où ferai appel à eux pour un prochain voyage. Mar 06,2019My wife and I had a fantastic 3 weeks in South Africa thanks to the wonderful itinerary especially tailored for us by JD and Francois, it was just PERFECT. We have been to South Africa before but this trip was so much better due to the detailed preplanning, every item taken care for us in advance. Travel Cafe gave us first class treatment and ensured we had the same for all our trip, they could not have done any more. What a beautiful country and thanks to Travel Cafe we got to visit great venues. PERFECT in every way, thanks JD and Francois for making our trip a truly memorable Adventure. Mar 02,2019Wir hatten das Glück, J.D. und Francois kennenzulernen...und sie gaben uns tolle Tipps für SA und Swaziland, wozu unser eigenes Reisebüro nicht imstande war. Sie kennen die Ausflugsziele, die sie einem empfehlen und mit ihrer Hilfe haben wir unvergessliche Erlebnisse gehabt. Ihnen ist es sehr wichtig, die Kunden persönlich zu beraten und auf die individuellen Wünsche einzugehen. Wenn nochmal SA, dann garantiert mit dem Travel Cafe Cape Town!!!

Feb 09,2019François, fondateur du Travel Cafe, nous a organisé de main de maître un séjour inoubliable d'une semaine pour 2 personnes au Cap et dans la région des vignobles. Tout était parfait, de la sélection des hôtels et des activités aux suggestions de balades et de restaurants. Dès la préparation du voyage, son sens de l'écoute nous a permis de mettre au point un voyage vraiment sur mesure tenant compte de nos goûts et de nos envies. Sans catalogue préétabli, il nous a concocté un séjour cohérent et bien rythmé, qui nous a offert de belles rencontres. Une fois sur place, grâce à l'application dédiée sur mobile, à WhatsApp et à 2 rendez-vous très sympathiques, dont un déjeuner le samedi midi dans le marché très animé du Old Biscuit Mill, il a assuré en direct le bon déroulement de ce voyage en nous permettant de replanifier des activités menacées par une météo capricieuse et en nous prodiguant à nouveaux de bon conseils de visites et de restaurants selon nos goûts. Et tout ça pour un budget tout à fait raisonnable, avec un devis clair et très détaillé, sans aucune mauvaise surprise et très en dessous de ce que des agences traditionnelles peuvent proposer. Donc, sans aucune réserve, nous recommandons The Travel Cafe, que nous n'hésiterons pas solliciter pour un prochain voyage en Afrique australe.

François et JD ont été à l'écoute de nos envies et y ont ajouté leur connaissance parfaite du pays et des partenaires avec lesquels ils travaillent. Tous les hébergements et les activités sont de grande qualité et l'équipe est joignable tout le temps en cas de souci. Dec 27,2018Francois and JD are true hosts for your travels in SA. They have made a great itinerary for us, completely tailored to our style and wishes. From the very beginning all felt truly professional and personal at the same time. they listen very careful and present a great proposal, the timing was perfect, the places we went to were amazing and really everything is being taken care of. Also during our trip Francois and JD kept an eye on us, were always available for questions, additional reservations or tips. truly amazing service! We would certainly recommend their services, and whenever we go back to (South) Africa, we certainly call out to them first!

They are a customer focused approach agency, as before planning any kind of trip they listen to travellers and look for what their needs are. they plan a trip that can be amended until their client isn’t fully happy with it. Once the trip is agreed through calls or emails, François and JD will share it on a fantastic APP from where anything can be found: from the itinerary, to contacts, up to vouchers of events/experiences or reservations made. Everything is well organised and I strongly suggest contacting The Travel Cafe Cape Town if you are planning to visit any part of South Africa or if you fancy visiting Namibia, Botswana, Victoria Falls, Mozambique and Tanzania. Francois and JD are always there for you if you need help or any suggestions. They are competent in what they do, and I strongly suggest hanging out with them if you go to Cape Town, as you will spend an AMAZING evening with their company. Dec 04,2018Nous sommes passées par The Travel Cafe Cape Town pour organiser notre séjour d'une semaine dans la région du Cap. Nous avons pu malgré ce timing très serré profiter de nombreuses activités et paysages magnifiques grâce au supers conseils de François !! La rencontre avec François au cap a également été géniale, cela nous permet de nous sentir chouchoutées et de nous mettre vraiment en confiance dès notre arrivée pour l'intégralité de notre séjour. Tout du long du séjour via whatsapp nous avons pu poser toutes les questions que nous souhaitions à François qui était très à l'écoute et réactif. Nous avons eu l'impression de partager notre expérience avec un ami tout du long de cette semaine. Les hébergements étaient tous des petits bijoux de part leurs emplacements mais également de la part la gentillesses de hôtes !! N'hésitez pas à vous tournez vers François pour vos voyages. D'ailleurs si je dois partir en Namibie je partirai avec eux les yeux fermés !!!

Dec 04,2018Bonjour, J'ai passé un séjour magique en Afrique du Sud grâce à The Travel Café Cape Town. François nous a concocté un séjour sur-mesure qui m'a permis de découvrir ce magnique pays qu'est l'Afrique du Sud!!! En une semaine, nous avons pu apprécier des paysages très variés et faire plein de belles découvertes. Tout était à la hauteur de mes attentes : activités, hébergement, etc... on a aussi aimé les resto/bar recommandés (on s'est régalé). J'ai aussi apprécié la disponibilité de François: toujours prêt à nous conseiller et à nous aider pendant notre séjour dès que nous avions la moindre question. Une super rencontre avec François à Old Biscuit Mill en début de séjour et merci encore pour les petites attentions qui font toujours plaisir. L'appli avec le programme est une idée géniale, c'est très pratique. Merci infiniment! Myriem

Nov 19,2018We had an absolutely unique and memorable experience in South Africa thanks to the care and passionate attention to detail the team at The Travel Cafe Cape Town delivered in the way they put our dream holiday together. They organised an outstanding itinerary ticking all our boxes and requirements, every thing booked perfectly but with the ability to optimise (i.e. change :-) our activities to suit the weather, our wishes or new requirements. They use a clever little App that guided and supported us during the 2.5 weeks of travel in their beautiful country but were on hand at any time to answer questions or help us with our needs. We could not wish for a better or more personal experience and would have no reservations in recommending their services to anyone who want to have the holiday of their life in South Africa!

Nov 08,2018My family and I have just come back from Cape Town where we spent 5 days organized by The Travel Cafe Cape Town. Francois and JD are true professionals and have taken care of all details of our break.Being a family of 4 with a child with a special needs, we felt reassured that our activities and sightseeing were appropriate and comfortable for everyone in the family. We generally like to avoid the heavy touristy areas but instead we prefer to fully experience the local culture and way of life. François and JD extensive knowledge of the area made our holiday ultra special recommending some true hidden gems...From Lions Head to Table Mountain to Boulders Beach to Cape Point, amazing food,great wine and most of all, buzzing energy and very friendly people. We had a fantastic time and every little detail of each day was taken care of. ..we will definitely go back to South Africa and highly recommend The Travel Cafe with no doubt! Thank you so much!

Oct 30,2018Just returned from a trip of a life time to Sa. JD and the team made sure we got the most out of our trip from accommodation, sight seeing, entertainment and travel. From start to finish everything went smoothly and we thourouly enjoyed every minute and have so many memories and experiences. We even made the most of some of their recommendations in between our bespoke trip. I can't thank you all enough for helping us to have a fabulous holiday. Oct 30,2018JD and Francois planned an amazing family holiday to South Africa for us. They managed to pack in a wide variety of things to see (wine lands, safari, city, coast) without the trip being too rushed. We were travelling with a toddler, which presented a challenge as not all hotels and guesthouses accept young children. The Travel Cafe embraced the challenge and found us some magical places to stay. They also worked with our budget, finding options to save in one location so that we could splurge on the safari. We enjoyed the planning process and were always kept informed and given options to choose from. The personalised itinerary they made us contained wonderful tips for days out, restaurants and places to stop on the journey. I thoroughly recommend their service to everyone!
