There is no long term commitment. Time4Learning is perfect as a foundation, a supplement, or for skill building.
My grandkids spend summer with me. They spend weekday mornings in Time4me. I frequently beg my son to let me pay for a better school. I have never experienced teaching done so badly. The kids frequently put their heads on their desks and cry. I love history so when the oldest got stuck I went to review it. I ended with a full page of notes on concepts from a badly done 9 minute lecture. From experience I know none of these will be reviewed again. The Teacher was obviously reading notes herself and needed a college class on public speaking, adding many filler words and distracting head nods. After reviewing every seemingly distantly connected concepts she needs for the test, it is going to take me a week to teach her what my son is paying this place to teach.
The interface sucks and the curriculum is so boring. And they try to nickel and dime you at every turn. You gotta pay per month even through the summer. You can place the students on hold for a reduced monthly fee and if you don't pay that fee they will delete all of your students progress. If you place the account on hold you have to be current on your payment, which is fine but here's where it is a mess: when you place the students on hold you will have already paid for an entire month of service. You must pay again at the exact moment you put the account on hold even if it's set up to start the hold at the beginning of the next billing cycle. So you basically have to initiate the hold a few hours before you get charged for your next month but after you do that you will immediately be charged again just a few hours later because "it's a new billing cycle" TLDR: you get one month of service and one month on hold but must pay for one month of service and two months of hold.
This site is easy to use. The lesson are engaging. They have good reports for documentation purposes. They let you set the pace for your student.
Very well organized and detailed. It makes learning fun
I do love, it is simple and I want me kids to enjoy being a kid and not always be in school all day.
I love the homeschooling platform. It allows me to engage with my daughter. She is learning something new everyday. The modules are simple and easy to follow. Thank you. I will continue to use the services.
I was quite surprised when I saw the content of the program! It is very use friendly and my kids love the animated characters and the songs! I have one in gr8 and one in gr2. They absolutely love it and actually progress so quickly. The work is challenging but very entertaining to encourage kids to continue! We absolutely love it!
Okay so I'm going to tell you in depth my experience with T4L. I'm gonna start with the sheer amount of technical difficulties and data loss there is .Half of the time, the check marks to show you what's done don't show up unless you click exit activity right after you finish. If you click off early or don't finish the assignment all in one go your progress is completely gone it saves none of it. You also can't open two tabs at the same time or else all the data on your first tab is gone. With that mostly out of the way, In language arts the technical difficulties are the worst out of any class, the lessons never save and it doesn't let you skip the stupid jokes and giggles with the goofy voices to get to the questions, the passages they force you read almost never matter because the questions they ask are just random (at least in word herd), and all of them have the same annoying and dry formula that gives me a migraine ever time i hear it. In math, the lessons start off with the dude rambling and then making a math problem out of it, but the teacher's voice is either monotone or this weird cool guy accent which is so hard to focus with, they barely explain what they're even doing, then expect you to just have to do it right after they do 2 problems. The concept never sticks in my brain then I just guess on the questions. Science is just edgenuity but it still just doesn't save. I did a lab and spent two ours doing it and i clicked done it just didn't save and I was so frustrated with the website. The videos go super fast and it takes me at least 4 hours to do one cluster of assignments. The instruction is once again not very informative and alot of the time I have to restart the whole lesson due to it. Social studies is in edgenuity just like science and it doesn't save most of the time. this isn't okay to advertise a product that "kids love" while it has so many glitches is a huge hassle that I wouldn't wish upon anyone, so T4L FIX THIS PLEASE i learn nothing from here and its just so infuriating. Edit: I called them about the check marks not loading they told me it was my fault for not clicking out of it fast enough like are you joking??
it is a very good website and great way to learn
I have search for many programs in this by far is the best thank you so much
I love the fact that I ve all subject in one app and and it's all base on curriculum.
So far I have loved wgat T4L represents. We begin on Aug 1st and I've previewed future lessons. I hope & pray it is as good of a fit fir my son than I think it will be!
This is a great addition to any homeschool family. We touch on all subjects daily for a short time so they can get reviews or learn things that our curriculum does not cover. Also in times of moving or sickness it can be our entire curriculum.
My kids are loving it and doing their classes sincerely ! Thank you
The program worked very well for my 10 yr old 4th grader. It was easy to schedule, and activities that they can do off-line. The teaching part was easy, and having the answer key gave me the ability to re take a test or quiz. I used it because of the kid's had to wear masks,so instead i homeschooled. My daughter will return to her normal classroom. I definitely recommend this program.
Best decision I ever made. We're only a month in and I can't believe how easy this is! I didn't even try and she's reading on her own with minimal help. Grading is done automatically, and the planner is great for making sure we're not falling behind. We will definitely be sticking with this curriculum for awhile!
Time 4 learning is a great homeschool in all aspects. The fee is affordable, great customer service, great knowledge & understanding lessons for the students & parents and I would highly recommend it to others!
We love using Time4Learning, very challenging for my child fun and engaging! Thank you such a fantastic learning experience!
This is a wonderful homeschool program. It offers everything you need and gives you the means to generate reports. I great way to do online homeschool
