Tom Hunt is a British composer specialising in creating original music for dressage freestyles. Continuing his work with top dressage riders such as Charlotte Dujardin and Carl Hester, Tom has composed and produced some of the most notable and world renowned freestyles of the past decade, achieving World, Olympic and National records throughout all levels of the Equestrian discipline.

Mar 21,2024Tom produced some beautiful freestyle music for my mare in 2015 but I couldn't find the MP3 link to use it again for my young horse. I contacted Tom and even after 9 years he was able to locate my music and send me everything I needed; nothing was too much trouble. This music is special to me and it's good to know it can be danced to for another 9 years at least!

For many years I really didn’t enjoy putting freestyles together as I am mostly working on my own but Tom has just made this the most incredible experience, he was patient, professional and incredibly supportive!!. We used the freestyle for the first time last weekend at a qualifier for the Paris Paralympics scoring 75% and winning it “ Thank you Tom” ..

Tom is a pleasure to work with, polite and super speedy. Great communication and delivery. Asked for feedback on how it rode and if I was happy, takes the extra time and effort into his work.

I recently got my first novice music which I’m super happy with and I will most definitely be purchasing more in the future. Not only is he amazing at his job and really professional, he’s also lovely to deal with too. He really is the best.

Having approached Tom regarding a piece of music to match my pre made floorplan, the experience was professional and friendly from start to finish. I didn’t have a specific type of music I wanted to use but Tom has been extremely helpful and patient putting a range of music demos together, that has helped produce the most magical piece of music! I will definitely be contacting Tom again in the near future for my other horses freestyle music!

For my daughter’s European music I treated her to her piece of music with Tom, it was perfection. These pieces of music to me symbolise what dancing to horses is about , harmony, passion and they make me feel like I am dancing on the clouds . Tom is professional, does each piece of music with all his heart and he can understand where the rider is coming from with their horse . Truly amazing

I needed to have some music created for a para dressage freestyle test and he put together a beautiful piece of music which suits my horse’s paces perfectly. It flows really well and there are also cues to help me with the changes in movements. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, very responsive and went the extra mile whenever I had any queries. I will definitely be asking for his help again the next time I need music.

He listened to my music choices and but together the most amazing music for both my prelim pony and my novice horse. We made a couple of adjustments together and the final outcome was just amazing. I absolutely love my music and so do the judges. I have received some of my highest scores from only afew outings. Thank you Tom
