I have been in the process of learning to drive for years now but due to having kids and nerves it has taken me a while. Stu was patient kind and a great teacher. Without stu I would not have passed if he didn’t believe in me. Thank you t.s driving school for changing my life. Highly highly recommend.

Jan 24,2024I want to express my gratitude to Stu for helping me pass my exam on the first attempt. The journey with Stu began after a less-than-pleasant experience with my previous instructor from BSM who was the greediest old man I have ever seen. He was all about the cha-ching! Every lesson felt like a money-making marathon. We were stuck doing the same maneuvers over and over, and I swear, he invented new reasons to keep me on the road longer. It was like learning to drive took a back seat to his bank account. After a whopping 40 hours of lessons, he drops the bomb: "Cancel your test and I am not going to take you to the test centre." He showed me some statistics that at my age (36) it would be a miracle to pass the exam after 40 hours of lesson and it would destroy his pass rate and he might lose his instruction certificate! I cancelled the test and booked another one. Just to add a sprinkle of frustration, he decides to not take me to the test center only 30 minutes before the test, after a mind-boggling 60 hours of lessons. He was trying to convince me to take more lessons because there is a tiny distance to being a perfect driver. In my search for a new instructor, I discovered TS Driving School and had the pleasure of learning from Stu. Taking a few lessons to adapt to a new car, and with Stu's guidance, I refined my manoeuvres and overcame weaknesses, leading to a successful first-time pass with only 3 minor errors.

Jun 11,2023Definitely would recommend. Started learning with Stu in January 2020 and passed with no minors in October 2020 after having lessons interrupted during lockdown. I was eager to get on the road but also fairly nervous but Stu made learning to drive an enjoyable experience.

Jun 08,2023As a lady over 50 before I even took my first lesson I was more than a little nervous. However, Tom did a brilliant job at putting me at ease and giving me confidence. Even when it came to the A419 (which terrified me) he was patient and kind, but still got me to confront and conquer driving above 40mph. I was able to schedule my lessons around quite a busy life and the cost was most competitive. Would recommend Tom as a friendly and professional teacher, with expert knowledge and a considerate manner.

May 31,2023What can I say about Stu? Well he's not just an all round nice guy he's also a fantastic driving instructor and I would absolutely highly recommend him to anyone looking to take lessons. When I started with Stu I remember after my very first lesson when we pulled up back at my home I asked him how long he thought it would take me to pass my test. Stu response was about 7 weeks, obviously I laughed as I'd already been having lessons on and off for a couple of years and still hadn't really progressed. I remember that night looking at dates available for my test and it was at least a 7 week wait. I messaged Stu a date for 7 weeks and we aimed for that date. I did 2 hour lessons once a week for 7 weeks with Stu and he taught me so much in such a short time. He encouraged me and also tested me by making me do the things more that I felt uncomfortable with on the roads. My test date soon came around and I took my test after 7 weeks. I passed first time with just 3 minors on the 13th June 2019. If it wasn't for Stu and his way of teaching aswell as his patience I never would have been ready for my test. I now drive with confidence and the skills and knowledge learnt from Stu. Thanks Stu I'll always be thankful.
