Nov 27,2024I'm 57 y/o and wanted to learn guitar. The local shops lessons didn't fit with my work schedule and there was little'grace' when it came to rescheduling, etc. Tried the online classes, but there was no feedback nor real instruction. A friend said to look for 'live' online classes and a search revealed Tunelark. So I checked it out. Enjoyed the ability to review several instructors and based on what I saw and read about my instructor Jon Armstrong, decided to give it a try. Jon does a great job and has a great personality. He guides me through the lessons and is very helpful and encouraging. Jon moves me along at a steady rate based on how I'm doing and not a strict book lesson-by-lesson the locals offered. Jon writes everything by hand. He literally wrote exercises during my last lesson based on what he saw I needed to improve. I really enjoy the lessons and it's encouraged me to practice daily. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm very pleased with Tunelark and Jon and highly recommend anyone wanting lessons to check it out.

It's incredibly easy to select your teacher based on credentials, a short video introduction and trial lesson.
