Ultimate Activity provide activity based holiday childcare for 4-14 year olds. The perfect holiday childcare option during the school holidays!
Great and fun experience for Carlo in reading blue coat school. Well organised week with plenty of sports and activities Support from staff was great
My 14 year old twin boys attended the Ultimate Activity Camps at Twyford. They can be reluctant to join in with group activities but they loved the range of activities on offer, the staff team were great, and the facilities were excellent so they were very keen to go back for as many days as possible.
Two stars simply because the setting of Handcross Park School was beautiful and the on-site staff were welcoming. However we were left extremely disappointed by the lack of activities carried out during the week. My child came home bored, and upset by being left out of certain activities... Swimming was promised - cancelled due to staff illness Tennis was promised - stopped because the children were "tired" Outdoor activities were cancelled due to "bad weather" (there was one day of rain through the week) Football was offered, but only to the boys (Ultimate Activity Camps dispute this, effectively calling my football loving daughter a liar as a result) Other activities not carried out but on the timetable; Parachute games Basketball Volleyball Drama Bowling Dodgeball Tee Ball I've been offered to send my child back for one free day in the next 12 months, however I'd rather not put her through that again, and none of her friends will be attending again to be there with her due to their poor experience through the week also. I would not recommend Ultimate Activity Camps, and would suggest looking for alternative options to avoid disappointing more children with a boring week at school.
My daughter loves ultimate activity camps! She always comes backing telling me how fun her day was. We’ve been sending her here for a few years now and never had any issues, camp manager Rachel was always able to help and answer any questions I had. I love that the instructors know the children on a personal level. I was always being told that she wanted instructor Jack for her group as he was the best! Thank you Handcross. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun activity camp for there child.
Had childcare cancelled with less than 24 hours notice due to train strikes. They didn’t explore all options even though no doubt they will reply to this message and say it was out of their control. Don’t employ staff that can’t get themselves to work if there are train strikes. Simple. To top it off they only refunded the discounted day rate for booking months in advance, even though they cancelled at the last minute. Not even a free day on them offered. Terrible. Awful. Go with Camp Beaumont instead.
My son has attended this camp for 2 years in Fulham and loves it!
There was a slight drizzle in the morning and no rain after lunch. However my kids had done none of the activities they were promised. All they had done was play badminton that too without any nets!!!, some art project indoor, badminton again for talent show, a half court crowded basketball on one hoop. Definitely not worth the money. Even the mk council sponsored free sessions were well worth the time which included free lunch. They don't tell you if they are cancelling their activities/schedules.
I would give these guys six stars if I could. Our twin boys had the time of their life at their camp in Cheltenham this summer. In think these camps are all about the Counsellors / staff they hire - and the team in Cheltenham are amazing. Highly recommend.
We have just finished the October half term session put on at St Gabriels School in Newbury. We signed our 4 year old up for 3 days ( just in case it wasn't for her) and she had a brilliant time! This programme is super simple to book online, email correspondence is good, we also called to book an extra day at short notice and they were very helpful. The signing in and collection of children on arrival at the venue was quick and effortless! Those looking after the children were caring and made them feel welcome so saying goodbye wasn't to hard or upsetting for the children. On every collection our child greeted us very excitedly and quickly asked if she could " Come again tomorrow" That, I think is a fantastic compliment to the staff of this event who are a credit to Ultimate Activity Camps. To have young children excited about their day and wanting to return is no small task. We will be rebooking with this company in the future and hoping for the same results
I have two children, aged 8 and 9 and they LOVE Ultimate Activity Camp. I booked them in for a Monday and Thursday so they could try it and when i picked them up asked to go back the next day and then the next day. They had an absolute blast at camp.
My daughter had a wonderful time and has asked if next summer she can go to camp for even longer! She loved the staff and range of activities, and I was impressed by how well they had adapted their routines to be COVID compliant. I’d always avoided using holiday schemes before as I thought they were expensive for what they’re ere, but I was wrong. This was excellent value for money, especially with the early booking discount, and extra amazing is that I can use my childcare vouchers. We will definitely be booking again.
Highly recommend the Hinchley Wood Sports Ground Camp, best one my kids say they have been too, great range of activities and staff were brilliant. This will be the only camp they want to go to now..
My nine year old did the Ultimate activity camp for one week and the survival camp for another week - both at Rose Hill School. He normally throws himself into everything he does but he came back totally deflated every day of the activity camp. The leader for his group just didn't make it fun. The survival camp was better but still not brilliant. Swimming was cancelled in the activity camp and one day of the survival camp was cancelled at short notice. These things are understandable but having leaders who are not fun is not and that is what the 3 stars reflects.
Our children now aged 9 & 11 have been going to ultimate activity and ultimate survival at Handcross park for the last 3 years, it is organised so well with lots of age appropriate activities to suit them both. The staff are friendly and really enagae with the children and if we have ever had an issue the office staff ahve sorted it quickly and with no fuss - I woud highly recommend them.
Kids loved everything about camp and complained if I collected them early! They asked to do extra days - very happy with all aspects of their service.
The kids love the Ultimate activity camp at Headington school Oxford. Plain and simple.
Trustworthy and kind - great, enthusiastic staff helped make this a pleasure.
My 8 year old daughter really enjoyed her first experience of Ultimate Activity Camps. She attended for two days over half term and each day came back home seeming happy and exhausted. She particularly enjoyed the opportunity to go swimming two days in a row!
My son really enjoyed this camp location and activities and wants to go back for Easter camp! It was very well organised!
