Jul 07,2022Jamie was instrumental in helping me succeed in my final stats unit for the degree. Jamie was the only tutor who new factor analysis so well, its a complex area and i really needed someone who new the tips and tricks and could guide with each section of my report - very kind, patient, great attention to detail and very knowledge. I feel confident in returning to studies again soon knowing that Jamie is there to help :)

After not being at school/uni for over 15yrs, I was nervous about heading back. With Jamie's guidance and help, I have been achieving Distinctions and High Distinctions across the board. Feb 10,2022Jamie has been an incredible help with my course material. Completing my honours for psyc, I was required to complete an advanced statistics course. It had been years since I studied stats, and I was completely out of my depth. With Jamie's help, I have been able to get amazing grades in this course. Jamie has a fantastic ability to break down difficult statistical procedures into digestible and understandable concepts. He was also able to provide great feedback on my assignments before I submitted them. I can't recommend Jamie highly enough if you are worried about your upcoming stats courses.

Feb 08,2022I utilised Jamie specifically for 2 assignments (3rd year) for my bachelors degree in Psychology, he was very helpful when it came to structuring the reports and grammar. However, for every other purpose that I asked for help with (necessity of information, relevance of articles, table structure etc.), I actually lost marks based on his changes, as noted in my feedback from my tutors. I provided him with all marking criteria that needed to be covered for my assignments and, based on his expertise, was under the impression that I would not be hindered by his comments and feedback for any adjustments, but I was. I paid for 5 sessions, which cost a huge amount of money, overall I am quite disappointed. I understand that he is not the one marking my assignment, and that all reports read differently to each individual, but for something so crucial as third year subjects with the hope to reach adequate grades for honours - his help (and I am sorry to say this) is something I definitely could have done without, kept my $740, and taken it somewhere else. Even when I suggested providing him with the feedback from my tutors (perhaps to aid in the next lot of tutoring he does) he was happy to take a look, using the final hour I had left with him... I got a refund instead.

Oct 20,2021Working with Jamie has been one of the best decisions I made while writing my psychology thesis. I wish I'd found him earlier! His work was accurate, fast and he has the attention to detail that you need while writing a research paper. Jamie is a great teacher: he is patient, organised, thorough and has excellent communication skills. Jamie is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to make sure you understand what he is teaching you.

Apr 14,2021I signed up with Jamie initially because I felt I was starting to get behind in my statistics unit. Jamie was nothing but accommodating in a) getting a tutoring session in promptly and b) being professional and willing to answer any questions I had related to lecture material or assessments. I never felt I was "too dumb" for asking questions and felt comfortable in our session. When you can walk away from a statistics session feeling more confident, you know you have found someone amazing. So appreciative I found Jamie and I can confidently say I will be booking more sessions in future statistics units!!

Oct 28,2022Jamie is a fantastic tutor who is able to explain statistics to relative novices like myself concisely and clearly. In the time it might take me four or five hours to attempt to understand a statistical concept on my own, Jamie is able to help me understand in the matter of a few minutes or more. He is able to provide many clear examples to aid understanding. Plus, his feedback is straightforward and easy to understand. My understanding and grades have improved since I started being tutored by him. I highly recommend Jamie to anyone looking for help with statistics.
