Their services were exceptional and they really cared for me, the customer. They answered all my queries and made sure that I am comfortable. Because of their services my move to India was without any problems. They coordinated very well with the different agencies and made sure that my boxes were delivered to my residence without any problem. They willingly provided all the services very courteously. Aug 17,2021Sent 5 large boxes with household items from NJ to New Delhi. Good points: 1) Even though vendor hired by universal relocation who was suppose to pick my items from US cancelled on morning of pick up day but still they made arrangements again to pick up item. 2) Very clear instructions on how to pack the items for shipment. 3) Once items were loaded in container, tracking information was shared and we were able to track where the container has reached. Also they were sending weekly updates regularly on the status. 4) Once shipment reached India, i was clearly communicated about the status of shipment. 5) They were reachable on emails for any queries. 6) Clear communication on charges to be paid in US as well as India(exclude customs as that is not in their control and was not anyways applicable for my household items) 7) Boxes delivered to my home without any issues. Improvement point: 1) It took 3.5 months to get the items delivered. Although overall time taken is not in their control but this part can be focused by their team that how to decrease this overall time. Overall i am happy with the Universal Relocations and would prefer them if i need to send items within budget and no restriction on timelines.

Aug 17,2021Moved from Connecticut, US to Karnataka, IN We relocated from US to India in the month of March 2021 and selected Universal relocations despite some negative reviews we had heard from others. The reason was that Universal was fine with moving the 65" TV which other shipping company were not. It was the right decision to move with Universal. Everything was smooth with the entire shipping process. Right from picking up the shipment in US to delivery in the final destination, Universal team kept us up to date on the status of shipment and were very helpful in answering any queries. Even the handling of passport for the sake of customs check was really good and passport was shipped back to me promptly after the customs process. Especially Sandhya in India who was responsible for delivery of shipment to final destination helped a lot in providing flexible delivery dates and giving prompt updates on status. Overall I'm happy with using Universal relocations service and do recommend it for International shipping.

Aug 13,2021I used Universal Relocations to ship my belongings, in 12 boxes, from Cleveland, USA to Mumbai, India. I packed the boxes myself. Kris and Sham were the point people (on the US side) who scheduled the pickup of my boxes from my home. They were very clear and precise in their communications. The pick-up crew arrived promptly on time and quickly loaded my boxes onto their truck bound to New Jersey. Once my boxes were loaded onto a container on a ship, the Indian side took over. Huzaina provided me with weekly updates about my shipment. She also efficiently coordinated the delivery of my boxes to my home in Mumbai. Huzaina and Sandhya always replied promptly to my emails asking for information. The delivery crew also was very efficient in dropping off my boxes. The boxes were also in pretty decent condition considering they were transported by ship. The entire process from pick up to delivery took around 3.5 months which, considering the pandemic situation, is extremely swift in my opinion. I would recommend them highly, and use their services again if needed.

We had shipped our stuff on the 21st April and has reached home by the 7thAugust. All the boxes came in intact with no damage practically outside or inside. The service provided by Universal Relocations is really good and recommended for - Open and clear chats with the agents The pick up and delivery crew is nice and helpful The whole team from the first contacted agent in US to the last contact of the move manager, the co ordination and updates are timely. Fair dealing from their side. Out of 35 total boxes, almost all of them except the stuff packed in their original box...were opened by the customs and taped again. Though the insides have not been touched, they probably scan all the boxes nowadays as per the customer service agent. Mr.Sham -our US agent, Shyamala, Joseph, Huzaina - senior move manager and the whole team has been pretty good, patiently answered all my uncountable questions and delivery was smooth. I would recommend using their services for RTI shipping services. Would be happpy to help if anyone needs any details in the shipping process.
