Ordered a door lock for next day delivery at 10am on Thursday 27/04/23, it was showing as despatched on their website, I emailed them Friday to see if they had any delivery tracking to be told it’s out of stock, as it was too late order from elsewhere I ended up being stuck at home all bank holiday weekend as I couldn’t lock my door, tried to ring them lots of times on Tuesday and no answer and didn’t call back, eventually got in touch with Jodi via email. More work needed to prevent this happening again.

SCAM - Purchased some long spindle handles and paid for next day delivery. Expected them to arrive on 31st March, I even had a despatched email saying they’d been shipped! Nothing received and phone just goes through to voicemail, managed to get a reply from Jodi on email who said the items were actually out of stock. Complete scam and fraud - still haven’t received the handles or a refund or any other comms from this company. Wish I’d read these reviews first - avoid!!!

Keys didn't work. Code verified and correct because I had keys cut elsewhere. Outside the 30 days they aren't interested in helping. It does state that in the advert but it's still poor in my opinion

Paid for next day courier didnt arrive, (had to purchase elsewhere) didnt respond by phone or voicemail and the email I finally received implied I should be greatfull it arrived after 5 days but if I want to send it back I am free do do so, at my own expense and without providing a return address, which isn’t cost effective. Still waiting for any further response a week later. In short, dont waste your time, poorly run business with poor customer service.

I ordered a lock on a next day service, which was marked as dispatched early in the morning the following day. I then receive an email in the late afternoon letting me know that they are out of stock and it was just how they work, they print all of the orders in the morning regardless if they have it or not and send tracking numbers out, then in the afternoon when they go to pick it they then start emailing the orders they can't fulfil. The management need to WAKE UP, sort your stock system out and do not leave it so late to pick and pack your orders if you do not even know what is there. Sham of a business.

Ordered via Amazon,I was sent someone else’s order (which is there mistake) I was told to return the item back via Royal Mail and to send a copy of the postage receipt and I would be refunded for the postage (I was told to use any Royal Mail service) . So I did what they asked me. A few days later received my original order, called them up regarding my refund, they told me that they have started the process. Received a refund which was less then the postage I paid called them up, then Martin told me they can only refund me as 2nd class Royal Mail. To be honest I wasn’t told which postage to use, If they told me this in the beginning then I would of sent it as 2nd class. Not happy with there service, sent me the wrong item in the first place which wasted time. Then I had to return the item and pay additional postage which I wasn’t even refunded in full for. It’s was less then £4 but it the principal. How a company treats customer.

I ordered a UPVC “gearbox” (via Amazon) and their price was up to 30% less than any other web site, and included postage. Ordered on Thursday afternoon and got it (Royal Mail) on Monday. I was impressed and will certainly order more from them.

I used Upvchardwaredirect to replace a uPVC door handle which broke. I ordered a replacement handle which was sadly the wrong one (not their fault). They organised a refund and helped me source the correct handle from their site. They were always very prompt with their emails and the whole process was not only cheap but very easy. Would definitely use them again.

Ordered 3 Yale 3* diamond locks from FixTrade on Amazon and they sent security codes with their 3 locks. FixTrade don’t do spare keys so I ordered spare keys from UPVC Hardware Direct. When the keys arrived they didn’t work in one of the locks other 2 were fine. UPVC Hardware checked the codes and shape from pictures of the original key and told me the last part of the code was incorrect to the code supplied. I told the lock supplier FixTrade the code they supplied was incorrect. They said it was probably UPVC Hardware that didn’t have access to the right codes etc and had cut the keys wrong and suggested I went to a proper locksmith. So I did and the keys came back the same proving it was the code not the keys UPVC Direct supplied. Although FixTrade won’t do anything about the wrong code (rendering the lock unusable) unless I send they lock back before they’ll replace or refund (leaving me with no lock on an external door) UPVC Direct without asking offered as a gesture of goodwill to refund the cost of the two useless keys even though they were at no fault whatsoever. That’s customer service FixTrade!

Placed the order on a Sunday night, got the goods on the Wednesday afterwards. I chose 'next day courier' as delivery option, which suggested I should have the goods on Monday or Tuesday at the latest. I got a bit worried when I saw the 1-star review. Tried to call them, but no answer. However, overall I got what i ordered on a reasonable timescale. The 'next day courier' label is a bit misleading though.

Do not use. My order has not been received, I was promised another to be sent out for delivery today , however nothing has been received. The land line number on their website goes to a mobile answerphone, and does not even have a personalised message. I am now about to contact my bank to reclaim the funds. Avoid
