Mar 01,2020i purchased a wig from here - to good to be true and then I found all the reviews on trust pilot shortly after. Since then, I tried for cancellation from the company (They ignored me, gave me the wrong tracking numbers, finally answered with one lines sentences, also emailed from several different email addresses), spoke to PayPal they advised i had to wait for the product. Received the product by hermes (oddly very quickly), the hair was cheap synthetic fancy dress type hair and raised my dispute straight away with PayPal. I explained its a scam and also provided the link for trust pilot and all the reviews. They've advised I can have a full refund, i just need to send the hair back to the return address which they provided, with a tracking number so they can check its returned and they will provide me a full refund. Luckily with royal mail - it's only £6 (so out of pocking £6 tracked)

Feb 22,2020The quality of hair is atrocious. I've never seen anything like it. Their customer service sucks. No one has responded to my emails nor request for return mailing labels. I need to return the entire shipment for a full refund. They are deceptive in that I attempted to order from the original U-WIGS Instagram page and somehow got routed to their page.

Feb 17,2020DO NOT BUY IF YOU DONT WANT A HALLOWEEN WIG !!! I bought 3 and none have a lace. It's just net like a Halloween $10 wig. I looked at reviews but my stylist said I think i can make it work. DOES NOT LOOK ANYTHING CLOSE TO PICTURES. NOT ONE WIG. NOT EVEN REAL HAIR. BUY ELSE WHERE and read reviews and believe them please !!! I didn't listen 🤦🏽 again don't buy anything if you don't want to be disappointed

Feb 16,2020To be honest they deserve no stars. Wigs are costume wigs. I cant believe they are misleading people with this hair. I bought 3 wigs and one of them wasnt even the one I ordered. I have requested a refund. They will not respond to me at all. Horrible horrible horrible

Feb 16,2020If you have been scammed, hopefully you can get your money back. Otherwise, please write to support@ shopify.com , their website provider regarding these scams/frauds. I am a seller too online off Shopify and by reporting other websites it raises concern on their fraudulent policies which could in turn shutdown the uwig.shop website.

Feb 12,2020Worst site ever!! This website is a SCAM!!!!!! The 3 wigs I ordered look absolutely NOTHING like they did on the website, I’ve written over 20 emails to “customer service” and I have received no response. This place is a scam, I lost a ton of money thinking I’m getting gold lace front wigs, and I got 3 wigs that look like costume wigs. Keep your money & DON’T purchase from them.

Jun 09,2019I have been trying to get an address for two months to return the wig which took over a month to arrive and is cheaply made and ugly. I have sent at least six emails (some of which they claim they didn’t receive) and occasionally they respond that my claim is being sent to “customer service” - a non existent component of this company. I will continue to bombard them and I will now use the comments on this site to discuss my options with PayPal, my credit card company, and the Better Business Bureau. I am also reporting them to Facebook where I originally found them.

Apr 29,2019Useless bunch. Do not buy from them. Very late delivery after being chased numerous times. Never get a straight answer and the quality of the wig is questionable at best. You may also be liable for import duties as they cannot get that right and again no response to emails and no refund (one year on). Awful seller and MUST BE AVOIDED. UPDATE 19.04.21. Despite the seller reaching out, after 2 years, my review still stands. Not convinced that all the bad reviews were wrong and should have been for a different company! Appears to be an ill advised attempt to get rid of bad reviews.

Dec 17,2018UPDATE: After a million years, this website decided to reply (today on 17th April, 2021) to a review which I wrote in 2018, claiming I reviewed the wrong site. Please, don't fall for this. THE WEBSITE IS THE SAME pretending to have a similar name. They just SLIGHTLY CHANGED THE NAME of the website, and its design, then made a few updates. PLEASE, DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR LITTLE TRICK. .... I ordered Indian Remy human hair and what I got in my letter box was a cheap plastic wig that is not even good enough for theatre.The material was synthetic with a very dull colour, I contacted the company SEVERAL TIMES telling them I was not amused and wanted a refund. They offered to make me a new wig, asking me to pay an extra price for it. I totally refused because THERE WAS NO WAY I COULD PAY EXTRA MONEY TO HAVE A NEW WIG WHEN THE FAULT WAS THEIRS, AND NOT MINE. Besides, I made it clear to them that if they did not do it right in the first place, there was no way I could trust them again to do it right the second time. They kept insisting that the wig was “nice” and "human hair" when I know that even Steve Wonder can see that the wig is a cheap plastic and not worth the 81 British Pounds which I paid. Fortunately for me, I paid with credit card and my bank retrieved the full amount. Please, be warned. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They pretend to be English with a UK website and English names, but their English language is pathetic (thanks to Google translate), and their 'Becky' is probably some phoney guy or gal pretending to be professional.

Mar 09,2020MEGA SCAM, the hair looks nothing like the video and pictures. I wouldn’t even call it synthetic hair, waste of bloody time and money. I don’t know how PAYPAL let’s them trade with them such a terrible company. They definitely wouldn’t last like this. You have to spend your own money to post it back! DON’T DO IT GUYS!
