I've had 2 experiences with Vietnam Teaching Jobs. The first was excellent. The agent was helpful, informative and told me exactly what I needed to prepare for a work permit before she set me up with a couple of interviews with great employers. The second agent was not thorough with the information and I had to keep asking questions, Her responses were abrupt. She sent me a scanned page of a random contract and told me it would cost 4k to get into Vietnam. She hadn't asked me for my docs or talked about specific employers yet. I didn't want to work with her. I gave Vietnam Teaching Jobs 5 stars because I think they do excellent work. You may get a not-so-great employee, but I trust in this company.
Great service that helped me all the way from start to finish.
Got me absolutely nowhere, complete waste of time
The information of listings is great. I’ve always rely on where the potential teaching job exists and if it’s the area I want to venture to.
Very helpful.
Do you have any jobs, as I have not seen or received any emailed jobs to apply to? Or what the situation will be for the coming academic year in Vietnam for native teachers from abroad.
Great job listings. Very good help and assistance. Very pleased.
No response from any recruiters.
I feel like most of the schools I've applied to either aren't hiring anymore, or they don't check to the website to see that they have job applications waiting. I've applied to over 20 jobs without a single response. For comparison, I applied to 3 jobs in Taiwan and got 2 responses.
The site itself maybe okay, but the schools are extremely unprofessional. Not a single person has bothered to even acknowledge my application. This was the same a couple of years ago, then I stopped using, tried again, and now I remember why I stopped using in the first place.
Very helpful
Just a terrible experience. I have 20 years experience, did not get ONE interview despite applying for numerous jobs or even ONE response, not even to acknowledge the receiving of my applications. I told the girls Jessi and the other one numerous times that I wanted to get the visa service to enter Vietnam and they only replied with advertisement e-mails, so insulting. And they repeated the same e-mails over and over again, describing the service!! Meanwhile I sent my resume to 4-5 jobs in China and got responses from ALL of them!
Unfortunately, there are many outdated job postings. I have personally checked in the past with some schools and they were not anymore in a hiring process.
their service is excellent
My experience with VTJ has been excellent and in particular, i have found the services provided by Ms Jessi, to be highly professional. Ms Jessi’s communication is open and consistent and her “can do” approach has been most appreciated. I highly recommend VTJ to all Expats coming to Vietnam.
